Whether or not that had anything to do with CTE is speculative. Aaron Hernandez didn't start acting erratic because of CTE. He was doing that in high school. In college he wanted to act like a gangster. He did that until he murdered people and got caught.

My uncle played for the colorado rams and his coach was that asshole that they made the movie about who forced players to play against doctor recommendations. The helmets were so old and shitty that he would make them use pieces of cut up gym mats as "padding". My uncle committed suicide after some years and in his goodbye letter he felt like a failure because he was being scouted by multiple nfl reps and didn't end up with the life he thought he would at all. CTE is real..and it's really tragic. I'm choosing not to type his name but I promise you every word I just said is true.
