I saw this in 2008 when I was 8 years old! It introduced me to blink 182! Who watched this when it came out?
the farthest they went into the future was 200 million years
dude, you helped me finish a school project, thanks a lot!
Look, when they did 5 million years into the future, they said thats not much time in evolution, so animals would look simaler to ones todays, and the enviroment thing, how can the make a new enviroment, can you think of a new enviroment, cause I cant!I think this a great show!!!!!
rainbow squids are allmost bigger than the blue whale :O
you mean almost the same only by saying that?
those are some weird animals!
thank you i missed some parts of the show back when i recorded it with a vcr i wanted to know what that snail was
Man this prb the oldest TFIW vid i seen so far🗿.
Also Nice!
The Great Blue Windrunner is the most beautiful of them all!
Some of these animals make me feel like i'm playin Metroid Prime. U shall feel the might of RAINBOW SQUID!!!!!!!!!
That first one should just be 5million years, not 500
the animals had to adapt to the new environment they were in such as the land squids evolving to their life in the forest
that's cool!!
I dont recall seeing the forest flish or that slime thing
Awesome thanx for posting this
Dude, it's 5 million years, not 500 million years.
Interesting data: In the antarctic forest, there is also a Fake Spitfire bird; it resembles a true Spitfire, but it isn´t.

It's 5 million, not 500 million
the cake is a lie
I'd like to say the Future is Wild didn't do a very good job. I mean, why did they only cover 3 species for each area? I mean if you look in any forest, you'll find more than 3 species. You are likely to find several different birds, insects, large mammals, rodents and invertebrates. But they also showed some creatures evolving very unrealistically. I mean sharks becoming pack hunters instead of solitary? And spiders living in colonies like ants? These creatures don't do this today.
They only showed three creatures per area because it's probably hard to predict how animals will evolve in the future. Also, they gave evidence to why the animals evolve they way the do.
Sharks hunting in packs and spiders forming colonies is not that hard to imagine. However I thought the idea of fish going totally extinct (with the exception of sharks and flish) was for example, a silly idea. Same with mammals going extinct. Do you realize how many adaptable mammals there are? Even though most of today's beloved mammals like elephants, dolphins, apes, and maybe even dogs would go extinct, I doubt for example that rats, certain few monkeys, or rabbits would have much trouble survivng and evolving.
Um ya know how long the movie wouldve been if they did that?
You forgot carakiller
