    I totally agree with the salad or healthy soup for breakfast instead of the traditional sweet, carb heavy breakfast. When you start your day off with a healthy meal, you're more likely to eat better the rest of the day. I did this for a while and lost 20lbs, easy!

    I'm glad you said that about regular fat yogurt. I'll use regular fruit and a little bit of plain full fat yogurt with no additional sweetener. So good.

  • @eleonoralydia8884
    @eleonoralydia8884 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    Full fat yogurt is indeed the best. Especially for recipes like tzatziki it is important that the yogurt is full fat. I love to make a dip out of Greek yogurt mixed with salt, olive oil and vinegar and topped with spearmint. It's basically tzatziki without the cucumber, but to be honest I prefer it that way. It's just so refreshing, light and yummy! I really liked this video. Happy new year!

    I know how much you and your kids love smoothies and I was wondering if you ever make smoothie bowls? I like a good smoothie bowl, prefferably banana ans strawberry, with some fresh fruit and a sprinkle of granola and coconut on top.

    Happy New Year to you too! Fun video :) I had a video idea for you for 2017 and I think it would be interesting and helpful for a lot of us that follow you. A video every 1-2 months "What we ate this week". After you do your meal prep for the week, show your fridge and what is prepped in it. It doesn't have to be detailed. Maybe you just pull out the veg and proteins you prepared and scan the fridge with the camera for the rest. Then, through out that week, show some quick clips of the meals you prepared by using your prepped food. Just a shot of it cooked on the plate, no recipe needed. It doesn't have to be every single meal either. Just throw in a variety if you can. Just raw footage, nothing fancy or fussy, so it's easy for you. I think it would be cool to see and I think others would like it too!

    I know you explained the oatmeal with egg whites, but I'd love to see it in a video. Seems like the kind of thing that lends itself to seeing consistency so I'd know when it's done right. Hoping to get more protein into my kids diet, and he already loves oatmeal.

    thank you so so much for sharing all this info. it is so helpful for me. i was wondering when you make almond milk, do you have a special towel or fabric that you keep only for making almond milk? also your cutting boards, do you have special ones dedicated for fruits, vegetables, meats, breads... maybe if you can make a separate video on this kind of organizational tips... i appreciate it.

    • @CleanandDeliciousDani

      great idea. you can use cheese clothe or just a clean kitchen towel for the almond milk. As for cutting boards - I do use separate plastic boards for meats.

    Hey Danny, thanks so much for the video. I've really fell off track with my meals since I've started school again and this really helped me think about how I'm going to be healthy again. I was wondering if you could share some quick and easy lunches to take to school to help me stay on track with my diet. Also i had a question about dairy, recently i've heard that dairy from cows is not good for you because it's meant for baby calf growth, not sure what your take on it is but i would love to hear your opinion on it.

    Even with the towels in there, how long do all those processed veggies last? Also, same question for the Quinoa and the eggs. - I'd love to do that with whole brown rice. Also, the Oxo containers you linked are over $50 in Canada. do you have any alternate recommendations for veggie/grain/berry storage bins? Also, I don't do facebook as a hard rule. Would love it if these videos could stay on TH-cam. Anyone can view a youtube vid. Thanks and Happy new year!
