Actually I kinda relate of this. When I was in 1st year college, I liked my teacher then I give him some gifts in his birthday. Everyone knew that I had special feelings for him but later on, I realize that he was silently rejecting me. He's ignoring me, doesn't give me a single look and even I am just in the corner and act seriously, he keep his distance with me. After that moment, I found out that he likes my other boy classmate. Reminds me of my high school self hahahahahahahah I had a crush on my teacher.. It was our senior year, some of my classmates knew that I had a crush on our teacher. Chill people... Love knows no age, unless they're kids, what is needed in any relationship is true love, understanding, tolerance, respect and compromise. Some of my relatives got married to their profs. They're happy and already have kids. But the the man had to make a formal proposal and ask the parents directly.

So, they are old enough to go out and start a relationship. Age difference does not necessarily play a huge role in deciding whether the relationship is normal or not. Some adolescents have experienced traumatic events while dating during middle and high school with their peers. You can use Google for some statistics. While teachers are supposed to look after their students, they cannot help but get emotionally attached sometimes. Some of them receive confessions from their students and the teachers would say that they’ll consider once the student graduates high school. If the teacher went out during high school, then that would be considered as abuse. Maybe where you live this entire thing is considered likewise, while here in my country, it is okay to get married or be in a relationship with your prof, or teacher but after formal proposal where parents, cousins and families are involved, of course after high school.

If you go outside your bubble you may find this things happens pretty much everywhere around the world, perhaps even commonly accepted in some culture. The world is vast, it doesn't revolve around you. Different cultures have different values and beliefs. That's the reality. But just because they don't share the same ideals as you, doesn't mean they're wrong, and vice versa.

I am not against it. I’ve had crushes on a teacher that was super handsome in high school and a professor in college. All I can say is, if they’re serious about each other...then no matter how long they have to wait is normal . And being able to get the parents blessing is even more important. These stories are something more to those who actually experienced the same. I also liked my teacher when I was just a teenager. But I myself didn't understand why am i being drawn towards him so much. I didn't even know what was it actually since I was just in my puberty. But later I realised, I still feel the same. I am in my late 20s,even though I hardly get to see him after school, I keep about him even to these days which is even surprising for me. Because I thought, I might forget about him as time passes by. Although he aged, I still get butterflies whenever I see him occasionally. He is always my first love. And I am glad that my first love is full of charm, handsome, brains and he also did care for me a lot back then. 😭 But he did it, because I was just a child back then.
