It’s kinda crazy how folks who don’t know how to play Tekken properly are able to make it to high ranks cause of certain moves are so busted. Kings 50/50 game with Jaguar Sprint Dragonuv: Could literally just flow chart with 3 or 4 moves with no defense
Most Tekken King King's are carried by defintion. They can jsut get away with playing extremely basic but very heard to deal with and monster damage for basic gameplay.
But genuinely how do you deal with infinity kicks? I mostly just low parry it. But like, on the wall, what do you do against the mid option? Crouch jab?
Basically it comes down to ducking the high kick that comes after the low or mid kick. So, either block the low kick then duck the high that comes after (or low parry like you said), or block the mid kick then duck the high afterwards. Keep in mind this is easier said than done unless you get the read lol. I've been massacred by the Miirio Special before, but hopefully this helps.
Look up infinite kicks Lee. Go into Tekken 8 and start labbing it but a quick start would be that it's low high kicks over and over. Once he starts spamming it the very beginning of it has a mid in there but you have to just hold down back block the low and crouch jab them to stop him from doing it That's the best way I've learned to stop him spamming it. Nah bro king is busted in this game. Pretty much no execution, counter hits deal ridiculous damage, throws in this game are homing now for some reason so obviously king benefits the most from it, his heat smash is crazy good, and to top it all off, his oki is disgusting.
Okay i am rdy for the hate so i blur it out. I am a King main and i 100% agree King players are carried and im probably no exeption from it. I honestly wish they would nerf him so i dont get permanently one and doned or plugged on. I do not plug, i only dont rematch when the connection is straight up from bikini bottom and yes im hard stuck in ruler ranks (not that rank in T8 means anything, with all the cheaters). I agree with the community on a lot of things, Homing throws are stupid and boost king up. IWR beeing so easy compared to T7, takes a big skill portion out of the game and made my own execution worse. I had to force myself to go for blue sparks always, just so i dont get worse. I love the character, played him since Tekken 2 and my T7 main armor king is not in the game atm, so i will stay with him. But please the heatsmash dmg, the homing throws, the fact that heatsmash hits grounded of oki... this all needs to go. I also wanna play the game in peace with a character i like and have some skill expression in it. Yet Bandai will rather buff all low tiers to the lvl of the high tiers. Sorry for the rant have a good one.
Wtf are you saying King needs a nerf? Compare King to other characters and think what he really needs. He doesn't have good strings, he's VERY reactable, he has the worst sidestep etc.... What they added in this game that buffs him is the heat smash and ff2 everything else is the same. He needs homing trows because he is a grappler that's the point of his character also he's not very strong if people trowbreak every throw or D*CK punch him. Like have you seen the matches in this video against the Kings? They lost so that means something. I think King is a very respectfull character compared to others that Have a lot of BS moves like Yoshimitsu,Victor,Bears,Azucena... just saying
honestly if they fix the tracking on throws king would be way more balanced. Theres still way worse characters off balance wise like Feng, Dragunov, and Azucena

Pretty sure it's stick you can sometimes hear the stick hit the edges when he does moves like FF3 and when he's real locked in during B2 loops
