Hi Erica! I was just watching a previous video of yours when you were showing your Christmas quilts and you did 2 quilts with self binding edge. I want to do that on a Christmas quilt I am doing and was hoping you could give us a tutorial on how you did that. Thank you so much!
I love the ruler holder! You could use it for the small rulers or the rulers that seem to get lost under the current project. I normally gather all the tools I need for a specific project but quickly bury them under a fat quarter. My squaring up 3 1/2 ruler (or whichever one I need) will never be lost again. I buy my background fabric 3 different bolts of white and I have already put my clips on them. They work perfect for that. I will never stick myself again nor will I bend a pin trying to secure the end of fabric on the bolt!
First time getting the jolly box and it did not disappoint!! Favorite item was the red rotary cutter but I really love the charm packs and panel!! (AND the pattern!). I guess I loved everything. 🤷🏼♀️
This was a great box! Besides the fabric, panel and pattern my favorite item is the limited edition Lori Holt rotary cutter. Love the red! I’m not sure about the fabric markers either. Will give them a try but may use them as bookmarks in a quilt magazine. See you next time.
I really wanted the Lori Holt rotary cutter was so happy to get that and the cup of cheer panel. I made the Kimberbell Cup of Cheer Advent quilt and wanted to make a tote with the panels to hold it in. The jolly box didn’t disappoint.
Got my box today. I will be able to use everything. The markers I would as a book marker. I also will put the mini ruler holder to good use. Maybe I won't constantly lose my smaller rulers that I use all time.
I love this year's box. I probably won't use the fabric markers as intended. Maybe to keep my place in a multi page pattern. Stl think they are cute though.
I have never been disappointed in anything I get from FQS but I was really disappointed with this years Jolly Box. The only thing useful to me is the rotary cutter. Oh well, better luck next time! loved your unboxing. i really like the mega stash and store. i knit and crochet 🧶and use one of the oblong ones for needles and hooks. i love how it keeps them handy, but i knock it over often and they all go rolling everywhere. i think this style would be more steady. i am on a spending freeze, so i did not order a jolly box. ☹ i hope they do this in normal colors for sale.
That is a cute quilt! I'm wondering if I have time for another Christmas project!! Fat Quarter Shop has a "Cup of Cheer block" for their Mystery Quilt this year that looks like fun. So many cool things to do!
Hi! it really depends, I love both Sew Sampler and PreCuts boxes, that is why I get those. The Sew Sampler is less expensive, but the PreCuts has more fabric :) So it kind of depends on what your budget allows!

I think I would use those fabric marker/clips to hold pattern book pages open or bookmark a “next project” etc.
