Awesome, thanks for the post! We have been wanting to get on crappie in western WA. Kids and I will give it a go this next weekend. Anything near us beats a long trek to C.J. Strike! Tight lines!
@BennettBuilt-yu2gw I don't know how close you are to Hart's Lake in Eatonville but that's a really good Lake to catch crappie also. Smaller Lake so easier to find them..lol. Good luck out there !!! Hope you get on them that way your will have a great time.
@@NWLAKEHOPPER We are out of Port Orchard. Long Lake near us we have gotten a few tiny crappie. The lake is shallow and not sure how to find the bigger ones. Maybe Harts it is, thank you for another plug! We went for Coho yesterday area 10 and got skunked. 10lb downrigger balls was not enough for the speed, was a beautiful day however. I know my 3 kids LOVE crappie so if we can find them local they will be so happy!
@BennettBuilt-yu2gw yeah I fished that lake once a long time ago. Wayyyy to shallow. All I caught was yellow perch. I may revisit that lake next yr. Do they have Crappies there?
@@NWLAKEHOPPER Tons of sunfish, small perch and some crappies 100%. I wouldn't expect any slabs? We try for largemouth but terrible luck. The few crappie my son caught were tiny. Must be some larger ones hiding somewhere, when we find schools it seems like all three species are right ontop of eachother! We might just hammer that this weekend since its so close.. would be nice to dial in a local lake. We have fished Cushman/Kokanee for years so we are trying to expand.
@BennettBuilt-yu2gw I hear ya. Getting your local lake dialed in is always a plus for sure. Well I hope you all the best my friend. I think finding submerge trees or structure will definitely hold so.e crappies
@pnwtroutslayer253 it ain't that much different from Mason Lake bro.. you made it through Mason so I'm sure you'll be fine in Alder. It can be tough at times but just being out there and having breath taking all around is worth it all . Go get you some bro
I planned on that lake Friday but my friend flaked out so we went for coho instead. Caught a 25inch one 15 minutes. I took the boat out that time though. 😂😂 Good video, I'll check that lake out this thrusday.
@Shokenryu it's a beautiful and fun lake to fish. It may take awhile to find fish but when u do it's ON!!! Me and Country Boy 360 went out to 8-2 and we limit out Hella quick...lol. CountryBoy 360 put us on fish too fast..Great Catch my friend!!! Thanks for the comment..Tightlines
Have you tried fishing for kokes out there? I heard it’s pretty good! Also American lake kokes are hittin pretty good right now 35-50’ from what I’ve been seeing! Great video!
@daltonstetz6809 I have fried fishing for kokes there. I didn't land anything big so I stop and targeted other species. For American Lake I just fished it the other day and just got done editing the video on it.. Thanks for the comment I appreciate it
@dewayneparrish2437 unfortunately I have not fish any lakes up north yet. I know lake washington have them and want to try fishing that lake but I will in the near future. I too am from California so lakes here are new to me. Looking up lakes in " fish washington " app should provide good ides
@@NWLAKEHOPPER Thanks for the input. I will just have to make a trip down there next summer for crappie fishing. You did a great job so I know there in there now.
Dunno why I get irritated when TH-camrs say the word ‘guys’ so much. Nice video tho. Those fish have limits in WA? Love da quality Keep up with videos and plz say no more the word ‘guys’ or less.
@TanStallion25Tre There's a few lakes here that do have limits but this Lake has no minimum size or limits. Hahahaha I was thinking the same thing about saying "guys" so much. What should I say? Suggestions? Thanks for thr comment

What color were you using. And where in the lake you found the big school. Thanks.
@@jdsmithsr I was using bass pro shop baby shad ( blk/blue) on a 1/32 oz jig head. I found them at southern of the lake suspended around laydown trees
They should be staging to chase shallow bait
@thecrappiehurtlocker2605 thanks for the tip. Much appreciated!
