It's great to see Addie's parents so involved with her. From the beginning it impressed me, her asking her dad to come back to A-1 to meet you. Seeing her join you all at the track and her mom with Vicki in the merch tent a couple times. This is what family and friends do as they grow. S10's have a special place in my heart. I was homeless for 6 months and lived in my 1995 extended cab. Sure beat living on the street. Didn't have money for gas but atleast had a place to park it. I may buy another one some day. And with the way the economy is going, I may need to live in it again here soon.
I love seeing Addie so excited about seeing you guys and building her Malibu. My opinion on the S-10 is a carbed turbo small block with a 9" rear end, CalTracs, 3 speed trans, 4 wheel disc brakes, and Viking shocks. Basically like Billy's truck was. Somewhere today, an OSHA Inspector exploded! The blue S-10 ABSOLUTELY deserves a Steve Morris SML, and shoehorn it into that truck, while keeping the stock look as much as possible. The ultimate sleeper! An 8 second Drag and Drive ride.

Bill, great video as always. Looking forward to seeing the new garage being done. The new s-10 project sure does look clean. I would do an LS7 with a heads and cam package, carb and a th400. Keep it nice and simple. Them LS7 can get you a solid 600 whp all motor. Non the less looking forward to it.
The new shop is coming along nicely! The giveaway truck is so nice that it needs a build similar to the Malibu…be able to comfortably drive it anywhere and still be able to race with it.
I wish my 83 was in that great shape. Firewall will need work to get small block and automatic transmission in. It's super tight. They are great trucks. I just upgraded my motor from 350 to 388. Shop coming along, I'm happy for you guys. Appreciate the show.
My father in law had a S-10 with 2.8 and auto. That would be shifting up and down constantly because of lack of torque. He finally bought a extended cab with 4.3. What a world of difference.
SBC blow through small twins is what I’m doing with mine got the inspiration from y’all great content been watching y’all for last couple years proud of y’all keep up the great work
Back in the day a friend of mine had a 70 nova SS with a 427 big block 4spd same color I loved that car it was so fun until he built that 427 and it didn't have a roll cage in it or subframe connectors and he put slicks on it to see if they would help on the street and it stuck to the road and twisted that nova up and popped the windshield out of it then it went to the body got straightened out and then got the cage and the sub frame connectors but it kind of ruined it for the street but it was a terror on the strip. Now I have a 70 Nova I bought many years ago from the original owner still has the original 307 in it and it is original gold with the white stripe down the side of it with the original almost flawless white interior and it still has the original rally wheels on it. No dents no rust and never painted it is just a nice cruiser and whenever I leave it parked in my driveway I seem to get young people stopping to see if I will sell it and acting like I do not know its value lol. No I tell them it has more meaning to me than money ever will.
My Dad passed away and left me an 2002 gmc Sierra. It’s a 6.0 with a 4l80. I’m building a street truck with a balance of drivability and power. Run errands, do 100 mile highway driveway with cruise control and AC but when you want to you can drift donuts in a parking lot or run 12s in the quarter. Balance.
Have an idea for the S10. Keep it simple and build a nice street / car show type of build. That truck is very nice. Install a GM Performance ZZ or SP drop in crate SB Engine with an Overdrive Transmission.
Amish are some of the hardest workers out there. Had them do some work on my house. They were quick, efficient and very reasonably priced. Addie was so excited to see you show up with those headers. Could barely contain her energy. And, not to sound to much like Freiburger, but that S-10 is MINT! I'm not a big Chevy guy, but that truck is saying 406, Th 350, 150 shot, and it would be a killer street, strip, bracket driver. Or, hear me out, put a little 4.3 with a single turbo on it. Just something a little different to stir the pot a little.

That truck would be a great platform for a nice little 4xx SBC with one of the dual entry crossbar kits, and a 4L80e.

The new shop is coming along nicely! The giveaway truck is so nice that it needs a build similar to the Malibu…be able to comfortably drive it anywhere and still be able to race with it.

I wish my 83 was in that great shape. Firewall will need work to get small block and automatic transmission in. It's super tight. They are great trucks. I just upgraded my motor from 350 to 388. Shop coming along, I'm happy for you guys. Appreciate the show.
My father in law had a S-10 with 2.8 and auto. That would be shifting up and down constantly because of lack of torque. He finally bought a extended cab with 4.3. What a world of difference.

Back in the day a friend of mine had a 70 nova SS with a 427 big block 4spd same color I loved that car it was so fun until he built that 427 and it didn't have a roll cage in it or subframe connectors and he put slicks on it to see if they would help on the street and it stuck to the road and twisted that nova up and popped the windshield out of it then it went to the body got straightened out and then got the cage and the sub frame connectors but it kind of ruined it for the street but it was a terror on the strip. Now I have a 70 Nova I bought many years ago from the original owner still has the original 307 in it and it is original gold with the white stripe down the side of it with the original almost flawless white interior and it still has the original rally wheels on it. No dents no rust and never painted it is just a nice cruiser and whenever I leave it parked in my driveway I seem to get young people stopping to see if I will sell it and acting like I do not know its value lol. No I tell them it has more meaning to me than money ever will.

My Dad passed away and left me an 2002 gmc Sierra. It’s a 6.0 with a 4l80. I’m building a street truck with a balance of drivability and power. Run errands, do 100 mile highway driveway with cruise control and AC but when you want to you can drift donuts in a parking lot or run 12s in the quarter. Balance.
Have an idea for the S10. Keep it simple and build a nice street / car show type of build. That truck is very nice. Install a GM Performance ZZ or SP drop in crate SB Engine with an Overdrive Transmission.
Amish are some of the hardest workers out there. Had them do some work on my house. They were quick, efficient and very reasonably priced.

And, not to sound to much like Freiburger, but that S-10 is MINT! I'm not a big Chevy guy, but that truck is saying 406, Th 350, 150 shot, and it would be a killer street, strip, bracket driver. Or, hear me out, put a little 4.3 with a single turbo on it. Just something a little different to stir the pot a little.
For the new S10.... Old school SBC with a 4l80e. Keep it clean but fast as hell. Little NOS and streetable. Badass

My neighbor has a S10, LS, 400, single turbo street ride. Real nice, sounds awesome, low maintenance.
