I've enjoyed the Trance E for the last year and never had any issues with jittery crank arms from being at a stop. Main reason is that i rarely come to a stop. The bike is so comfortable and natural feeling but yet powerful! Giant really engineered an awesome EMTB!
Bought last February 2023, the motor is very smooth and no rattling like shimano during downhill. I can say this bike is super for long enduro rides, bike is def balanced and do it all. 1650mt with motor in assistance in sport mode. Shoutout also for the engine tuning in the Giant app, easy and fast to tune with your setup
i like the syncdrive pro, feels very natural with a good power curve. the motor is smal and nice and giant is a company wich supports you with new larger batterys on your old bikes. The price and value is one of the best out there.

I have one. It’s fun but the chainstay is ridiculous. I can bunny hop about 36+ inches on a BMX bike but can barely get this up a curb. It’s cumbersome at best and bought the wrong bike.
No se porque giant manda a todas las pruebas la e trance y no la e reign además de que Josh Carlson utiliza más la trance que la e reign parece que giant no está muy orgulloso de la E reign 2022. Estaría bien que hicierais en test. Saludos
You guys looks like 😅 is Ok bike... compare to yeti sb160e and this giant looks like both bikes have the same range of 🔋. Im my pinion i don't see you guys in tbis bike compare to Yeti sb160e, bith bikes is closet to the same price too. In my opinion
The bike is so confusing. Why the hell did they make this and why did they send it to you guys? They have the elite version that makes all the difference in the world. Literally 10 lb difference. Shorter chain stays. Mullet wheel set up. This one is just bizarre.
I had the 22 reign for 6 months, I liked the Yamaha motor but it's not as good as a Boshe, a trail bike should ride lightish and snappy so why the long chain stay, for me the Trance seems like a flop hopefully when they update it they will sort the geometry.

Did you try the bike in the lower rear link position? I know it wouldn’t change the CS but would lower it and slacken the fork.
We spent most of the test time in the low setting!
