Coconut water is so refreshing. The 'stuff that you can chew on' is called jelly or meat where I'm from. When it's softer we just scoop it out and eat it with a spoon. When it's from an older coconut (like the one you were wrestling with), it's grated and used in pastries and the like. On a side note: we thank God for sparing your fingers during this because you and that blade were giving anxiety. lol.

Hi ace here from philippines we often use 'Bolo' a machete like cutting tool which is 10 times easier to get our coconuts done and we prefer green coconuts at decent size and the water inside is healthy af
Welcome to Florida king! If you want a good catch and cook, I personally reccomend the many lakes and ponds. They have invasive Mayan cichlids, and there are no limits on them as a result. You can catch them with bread, and they are scrumptious.
