you can get tilea to join your war against broken nose while your waiting, by doing the trade settlement exploit and they can keep broken nose busy and at bay.
Currently immortal empire campaigns are rough for dwarfs All factions not being controlled by the player keep getting destroyed While I have to fight at least 4 factions at once
I mean I play on vh/vh and dwarfs are one of my least favorite factions but I had zero trouble steamrolling belegar without “cheese” or other exploits. Just gotta be aggressive and manually fight a lot to offset their shit replenishment
@@MercytheMad I thought that in the first half but then he ended w/ "Meanwhile I gotta fight 4 factions at once", which I took to mean him referring to himself playing dwarfs lol
Just tried it, I got the free armies but zhufbar and thorgrim chased me all the way to the brass keep with their armies. Thorgrim hates me even more for trespassing on empire lands. Other dwarves only want to confederate when they lose their faction strength- (losing their free armies) I wonder how many you could get.
Cool exploit. Wonder if you can do this with any other factions since it's a cool way to play around with end game armies without having to wait very long.
There are lots of similar exploits. Wood elf quests. Thorek if his quest is not bugged currently. Orks can just bash confed each other. Vampires can force vassalise and them later confed via dipomacy
You mean using exploits in general? Or specifically confederating the end game armies? I have never done it before, so its new to me. I doubt I would play more than 1-2 campaigns this way but the novelty of fighting endgame armies vs enemy endgame armies on turn 11 made it quite fun/exciting.( At least for the first time)
@@MercytheMad just using big exploits like infinite gold and having 4 late game armies right away with 0 upkeep ... i can't imagine playing a camping like this where u already won before you ended first turn ... but to each their own ... and i like watching possible ways of breaking the game... i just don't like using those ways in any serious manner
@@TheGrunaldi honestly if you set all the endgame crisis to start then the clan skryre skaven are most likely going to come fuck your shit up immediately lol, its not that easy. i did this and they completely wiped out the border princes and pushed into the badlands and grom has taken the entire bretonnia in like 10 turns. i can barely even keep hold of zarakzil without leaving karak hirn undefended and if i just bailed and went to karak eight peaks then when i come back the entire empire is gonna be greenskins and skaven lmao
Just bash their enemies, eventually you can confed some of them. You are high in the strenght rank after this so the strenght difference won't affect that much, I bet.
For sure. If you are playing "competitively", then I would definitely make a rule against this as only certain factions can do it, and it may make the game too easy - depending on the challenge level you enjoy. Although it's generally not my thing, sometimes it is fun to just stomp around :p
I think this might be my favorite master class yet. The cheese is so beautiful.
Another Brillant Masterclass
I believe thorek can do the same thing since he too gets a quest to confederate another dwarf faction
Yes I would expect he can, is his quest fixed now? It was bugged in previous patch.
@@MercytheMad it worked fine for me
@@rogofos Sweet, thanks for confirmation!

This is a chefs kiss guide for this faction. Wonderful.
Thanks!
Heyyy! Soldier! Thanks for the superthanks mate!
@@MercytheMad np love your vids!
The cheese is so cheesy it’s suitable for a skaven
Love your videos! This was great. Now I'm actually considering a Dwarf campaign for the first time since 2016.
I am pretty sure this will be even easier with imrik -caledor confederation when they add a HE endgame crisis.
Damn, that money exploit is filthy.
This is super cool thanks for the video Mercy
You demented genius
That is some mighty fine cheese.
i smell good riped dwarfen cheese.
Science Is Golden!
Just wondering, you could also do the infinite money thing with Ikit Claw too right?
The infinite money thing you can do with just about anyone, it's just a bit hard to predict which specific settlements/factions it will work with.

Yeah even boosted endgame dwarfs don't tend to do that well. I wonder if their autoresolve values are off.

Very very sneaky! Some would say even skaven like 😮
I suppose you can do this with Thorek's confederation too considering it was fixed recently.
It has? Awesome, I wasn't sure if it was still broken.
@@MercytheMad Your little video secret 🤫
How long till they remove the -100% upkeep when players confederations
It's permanent afaik. As long as the army never gets wiped out.

@@MercytheMad Wood elf quests dont seem to work, i tried it and it basically destroyed all their armies when i confederated.
@@dystropyko Ah OK, thanks for letting me know
Does this work with all quest confed factions? ie. woodelves?
I would guess it does but have not tested.
Thanks man :)

nice to see Belegar...I would like to think I may have inspired you to play him again?
how can you not die of boredom after 2 seconds playing like that ?
