There were many options to lower my car, but i did not want to sacrifice the ride quality, the ride quality with racing line lowering springs is as close to stock. @volkswagen_usa
Love the fitment on your ride, looks very tasteful. Are the new springs stuff enough actually offer any performance improvement or is this really just a visual mod essential? I definitely push it on back roads with friends and if I go lower I want to ensure I’ve still got stiff springs
hey, this springs arent stiff , these are close to stock suspension ... the only reason i got this spring is because no effect on the quality ride and lowers 1 inche ... if you want more lower and stiffness go for h&r
Hi friend, I think your last fitment was perfect, the diference with racingline installed is little. I installed racingline springs in my golf mk7 1.4tsi too. I have seen your racingline are progressive , for my golf the springs are lineal. My golf lowered 1" approximately. Nice your R.
Cool, thanks... the reason i bought racingline lowering springs is because it does not effect the ride quality much compared to other brands and i wanted to lower a little not too much as my rears are 9.5 width and if i went lower than this i would have to go negative camber alot
@@Farisk3f hey what size are your wheels? 18? 19? I’m thinking of getting these for my 7R, I’m not happy with the gap I have on the APR lowering springs. I have 18X8.5 wrapped in 235/40/R18. Just wanted to know before I purchase. Thank you.
Have the same car but in tornado red. I love all of the forged carbon accents around the car. Very nicely done. Are these springs progressive? I was looking for some that are linear, was considering EMD or 034. Nice setup
Any rake or reverse rake? Would love to see some side pics/video after settling- Have a 19R/DSG and wanting something that visually is equal on gap all around.
I think while reverse i do here aome tak tak sound in the beginning i didnt realize its from the lower spring until u said it … will get it checked from the dealer
Question, since your car has dcc and dynamic cornering lights, did you have to get the recalibrated after your install? My car is throwing a code for the cornering lights and was wondering if it needs to be recalibrated
Hello, my car doesnt have DCC but it does have dynamic conering light …. For dynamic cornering lights you dont have to recalibrate , but for dcc you have to recalibrate after installing lowering springs
i dont have spacers on the front, i just have it in the rear 5mm spacers because the rear wheels are 9.5 35+ so it was touching the shocks from the inside ... and for me without effecting the ride quality racing line lowering springs are the best , lowers 1 inche tho but best for me ... i dont like the ride quality to be too stiff
