Its the passive radiator hiting the uper part of the speaker grill. It hapened to me too. The solution is that u download sony music center and play with ecolizer and find a sweet spot where is not hiting the grill.

Yes, only grill was removed and cleaned, no impact on the casing.
Wrong way to remove the front grill. Start to remove from front. Not from side.

I remove the posterior grill and now i can not put it back... don't know why. Do you have any ideia?
Chek the grill lock if it is broken.... If yes then heavy duty glue may only be used... Barring u from removal in future.
My xb31 makes a weird noise when i turn the live Sound mode on.. do you know what it could be?
Like a clicky sound? Just happened to me. It's sounds like the speaker is vibrating too much and hitting something.
