Love these pieces! I'm glad to know I am not the only one who puts things together only to realize...🤔😯🤪...that I did something wrong! So proud of you for your brave attitude to persevere and to share it all anyway. Makes for such sweet common ground for all of us crafters! Love to you ❤
Tina, Tina, Tina! I just love watching you and listening to you talk (your accent is so charming). If I may be so bold as to offer this piece of advise...please remember there are usually never any mistakes in paper crafting. Many times we are challenged to come with an even better idea than originally planned. This happens to all of us so please don’t be so hard on yourself. You are a very creative person. Also, I simply adore your “take” on others’ ideas you are sharing. Keep up the great work and give yourself a break!Jeanie K from CA, USA
This is why I love watching you. You don't edit out when things go wrong (which isn't that often) but show us how to turn it into something else just as beautiful and not give up and throw in the bin. You show us that in crafting there is no such thing as a mistake x x x x
I'm new to this world of junk journaling and I'm grateful for you showing a mess up, and how to keep getting on with it, and not giving up, also it helps me see it's ok, that stuff can even happen to the best of them, so I keep on trying, and I went and watched some of your altered book video's and I so relate because I'm on my first altered book, because I felt safer to start with that, rather than to have a go at sewing in a journal, Thank you for letting people see the Real process, I find it very helpful!!
Oh thank you so much, and I am really please that my mistakes are helpful to witness!! Lol. Yes, I think altered books are definitely a great way to start junk journals. Have fun x
Lovely! Is there anyone out there who hasn’t made a mistake? I think not! Tina, you are awesome. Thank you for sharing the good and the not so good with us as it helps us all feel a little better about our own mess ups. Hugs and blessings, 🤗🇨🇦❤️
Very nice ideas! And as you said, a lot of people might have just thrown away that envelope. However you salvaged it! I find that when I make these kind of errors, it sometimes will lead to a totally new and wonderful idea. No idiots in crafting, just imaginative people! Great job!
Often beautiful things are made because of mistakes, without the mistake we may never have thought of doing them that way! There are no mistakes in crafting, only happy accidents! I laughed out loud at Wally, and haven’t heard twit said for ages! 😃❤️
I just love your videos! You are sooo real! I always feel like I am sitting with my best friend working on projects. Thank you for your genuineness and your inspirations! Sometimes, I just sit and work on a knitting project while listening to you work away. It's one of my life's pleasures during these covid moments.
Loved it! You are so funny Tina - I love the way you teach and it's really endearing when you leave your "mishaps" in - fantastic! I always learn loads from you so don't apologise - just be yourself, your brilliant!
Don't be so hard on yourself, we all make mistakes. You showed that even though you made a mistake there is usually a way to fix it or cover it up and all your pieces are so lovely. Sometimes things come out better when you have to be creative to fix it,
The times I have glued or sewn the wrongs bits but never throw them away . You just showed how versatile and talented you are to alter this to still work even though it was different to your original plan........”a happy accident” I love the way you still include it in your video and don’t edit it out.
I am digging through odd tiny saved bits of pretty papers and laces wondering how to make a few pocket stuffers today and here you were. Thanks for this cute and scrappy fun idea. And remember there are no twits in crafting my dear. Just simply excited creative people giving themselves a new challange to overcome. So I say "Well done!" You made me smile at the very least so not a waste of filming for sure. 😂😂 💛 Best to you and again thanks for sharing.
It was looking so pretty but we all do silly things like this. It show though that you can laugh at yourself which is a sign of a good hearted person. Don’t fret. We love you anyway Tina.
Oh, Tina!!! Perfect!!! We all love that you are so honest!!! How will we learn? No one would know if they hadn’t seen the video! The piece you made out of the envelope is gorgeous!! As are the rest of your pieces!! ❤️❤️
Oh I love this sewing video, thank you so much for sharing with us ❤️ my favorite is the small tablet with the round numbered piece on the cover and the lace pocket on the back! I'm sure I'll be back for reminders, and the color coordinating hands that I just love 💙💚💜☘️
Thanks for keeping it real! Give yourself a break though, and please do not berate my crafting friend for being human. You inspire us by just being you, accidents and all, because you push through and keep crafting (or tidying). 💜💜💜
Ah, you actually made my day with your little stitching mishap. I’m not the only one! Thanks for showing us how not to do it lol. You saved it in the end, and kept on. Bravo ❤️
When dear old Bob Ross talked about mishaps as he taught his painting classes, he always made us feel better by calling them "happy accidents", and he always had a wonderful way to fix them. That's exactly what you did here... you proved an accident can still be beautiful! Don't be so hard on yourself, darling Tina : ) We're all still happily waiting to see what you will show us next !!! hugs, Sherry : )

There are no mistakes, just happy accidents. I have learned how to fix and work with things that you want to throw away. I like embellishments so much better with stitching. My sewing machine is over 30 years old and it works great. It just doesn't have a bunch of fancy stitch patterns. My tip for everyone is don't put glue where you are going to stitch. It messes up the needle and breaks the thread.❤
They look great. When you were sewing the back of the lace I was telling you that you were sewing it closed and my husband said to me I don't think she can hear you 😂. It still turned out pretty.

Other than that, lovely
Lol, thank you x
I don't know what a Wally is but you're definitely not a Twit or an Idiot that is why they make seam rippers for. I have done this same thing with clothes until my machine decided to make a wad on the backside of everything. But I don't understand why you pull so much thread out when you are done?
I loved your video but I didn't think you needed to appologize for every single shake or bump or error. You didn't do anything to anyone to appologize for. It was just normal things we all do. Not to be an insult. Just my opinion.
