    I still use this product at the moment but I have to be very careful how much pressure I'm applying on it due to the issues covered in this video.

    I use a Wagtail angle arm which is fixed and works great in many situations. The added length of this one is a good idea to give you an Ettore ledge eze effect but being so long it’s going to create huge leverage force when you put pressure on it. Any moving parts at the joint is going to be dodgy. There are already adjustable aluminum cranked angle arms out there that are shorter but even they have similar wobbly bits issues. A safe bet would be a set of two or three fixed aluminum moulds - maybe 40 and 30 degrees so you can create zero degrees if you want when using a 30 or 40 handle.

    Very helpful and agreed. Haven’t used it enough yet to add my feedback but just upon examination I found the same problem. My doctor angle at the end of a pole extended past 24 feet is just too wobbly. Would love a sturdy version.

      They are working on a better version but this one shouldn't of been released. The better qualitly finished version should be out for sale, this is damaging to moermans brand and they will loose customers if they continue to put out products that brake and need improving.

    • @mikegray1702

      TRAD - MAN agreed. They are already fighting a reputation-even if unjustified-of being cheap, so they need to not put out poorly made stuff. Their good stuff is the best there is, but this...and the last angle adapter, just aren’t what I hoped.

    I saw immediately that the bottom was weak so I made a modification of it to fit it to my wfp that has worked perfectly...I cut an 8 inch section from an Unger aluminum pole and drilled holes to correspond with the holes in the Dr angle and used the blue click buttons provided to lock the Dr angle to the Unger aluminum pole section. Then I fitted the Unger section into a zero trad pole tip (which formerly had a red Unger tip on it) and drilled and screwed them together. Since there are 3 click points holding the Unger section to the Dr angle, it distributes the stress between them and the Dr angle has not cracked. It actually works beautifully and has served me well every day for many months now. I pre-ordered mine so I have had it since it was first available. I do hope they improve it though, because it needs to work for everyone equally since it is such a helpful and inovative tool. Thank you Trad-man for the very honest review! I love moerman tools as well, they reignited my love of window cleaning and I am forever thankful!

      @@michael-reay-beaton you need two angle adaptors. Its a bit annoying but basically I have the precision angle adaptor and a standard angle adaptor.
      The precision one is the one that goes onto your pole. The other half is the standard angle adaptor as its round. Then pop the excelerator on the top and put a single screw through the existing hole in the squeegee handle to fix it on.

    • @TradMan
      @TradMan  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@malcollins611 in all honesty it does work but it needs strengthened up as it's a bit wobbly. Personally I've never broken one but it does flex under side to side pressure like when scrubbing. If you use it with the excelerator and fliq it does work but if you pop on a wet applicator you'll see it flex a heck of a lot more and will potentially snap. Used with lighter pressure it will do the job but just have to be careful not to put too much pressure on it, especially side to side scrubbing. That's my honest thoughts buddy

    • @malcollins611
      @malcollins611 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TradMan I suppose that's the problem.....buying a tool you "have to be careful with". I have had problems with Moerman products before so dont want any more hassle

    • @TradMan
      @TradMan  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@malcollins611 yeah it's a shame because some of the tools are brilliant, like the excelerator 2 and the liquidator channel is great once you master the techniques. But dr angle was a let down when it was released and it's not proving very easy to fix because if they tightened it up too much the tool wouldn't work well when changing the angles it would be too tight so they are trying to get it tightened up a bit more without compromising the angle adjustment. Personally if I need a trad pole with angle arm I'll use the ionic hydra pole as that has a proper end cone for moerman tools and the angle crank on the ionic pole is much stronger

  • @typerightseesight
    @typerightseesight 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    moerman tools are also super lightweight and made from the same materials.. My guess it's a pass with moerman only attachments. Anything heavier like a stainless steel ettore channel... blegh.

    • @TradMan
      @TradMan  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Even with the excelerator, it bends the Dr angle when your scrubbing. The dr angle is no where near sturdy enough. It's a shame as the concept is great. I still use mine but I'm very careful how much pressure I'm applying on it as it bends a lot at the angle adjustment section.
