- A portable surface roughness tester able to operate independently of mains power and make measurements on almost any part of a workpiece of practically any size. The large 5.7" color LCD with touch-screen functionality improves operability and provides high visibility. Statistical analysis of up to 3 parameters from 300 samples can be performed showing average, standard deviation, max, min, pass rate and histogram. Up to ten measurement setups, along with stored data, can be displayed and printed out on the built-in thermal printer, or stored in the built-in memory.

ola saberia me dizer oque seria erro de drive 1, no equipamento de rugosidade SJ 400?

Espero que eu tenho a sua pergunta certa - unidade de acionamento de SJ 400 mostra "Erro 1"
Se assim for, há duas causas possíveis:
1. pino de conexão do conjunto do parafuso de alimentação pode ser dobrado - que é causa número um, devido à nossa experiência - porque a unidade de acionamento caiu ou bater uma superfície dura.
2. motor da engrenagem com o gerador do tacômetro está com defeito.
Melhor solução seria entrar em contato com oficina de reparação Mitutoyo local para uma análise detalhada e reparação.

I have an SJ 3-10 and I’m getting an OVER RANGE warning on my display? Any advice?
Make shure your probe has a proper contact with the surface to be checked. I have seen this message only when the contact is not proper
Some of the touchscreen buttons on my SJ-301 do not function. On the main screen Cal, Card and Condition do not work. Would you have any guidance on why this would be the case? The machine itself is measuring roughness correctly but I am limited to the current setting. Thanks.

Dear Paul, sadly Product Management indicates that issue can´t be solved without having your SJ physically serviced. As the SJ 201 is discontinued already for several years please get in contact with your

Which model can measure the surface profile range 2 to 5 mill

If you have to measure surface roughness at a profile with 2 to 5 mm height differences I would like to invite you to check out our Formtracer series CS-3300.
However, if you are interested in analyzing the contour by geometrical elements you should have a look at our Contracer CV-2100 models or the Formtracer Avant series.
