Ever since they added the aiming reticles to Trailmakers, I thought how cool it would be if you could have a plane with flares, and since you sometimes do experiments involving planes, maybe you could build it in Trailmakers? Just a little thought.
Hey Scrapman, here's an idea : SEA vs LAND. One side has a battleship, the other has a tank. The Tank has to destroy the Battleship while taking as little time as possible and he can repair (not the battleship since it is the target to destroy). Prefered weapons should be explosive ones.

@@DaysofKnight Yeah, It's a useful bit of utility, consistent, predictable, and easy to make or fix if done somehow unintentionally. Plus it isn't game breaking in any way. More of a feature than a bug at this point.
If any game you and some of your colab partners have a flag hunt mode (explanation: there's x amounts of flag posts/checkpoints around the map without a circuit, just open terrain, first one gets the flag/checkpoint, it disables and enables another random flag/checkpoint on the map). If possible, return the flag is an option, but that's probably more difficult to get working, but then the flags are collected and you fight over possession and return it to a goal checkpoint. Y amount of collected flags or checkpoints wins the round. It could be done in any type of vehicle, even though it's usually with 4x4. Great video as always, looking forwards to seeing more!
Anyone else notice how scrapman usually partners with significantly smaller youtubers to help them grow? Its pretty cool (or I'm just over-analyzing 😅)
This glitch would be SUPER useful for negating flip factors when making more high speed vehicles. I've noticed that when you make higher speed vehicles, turns and whatnot are a great risk due to the flip factor, however having a couple of these would negate that and make it a non-issue.

I would love to see you 3 recreate battleships using your mortar concept, which uses pistons to launch bombs, but each of you build his own 3 ship models, small with only 2 mortars, medium with 4 mortars, and large with 6 mortars (its better if you 3 set a block limit for each ship), the challenge would be for each of you to fight in a 1 v 1 match with each other, the 3rd player will spawn and maintain the wall between the other 2 players, and each attack in turns with one of the ships of your choice (each ship attacks with all mortars at the same time), until one of the players remains without ships. A victory means one point, and at the end whoever has the most points wins, if there are 2 of you with equal points a tie-breaking round is added.I think it would be interesting.Sorry if it's hard to understand what I wrote, English is not my native language so I may have made grammatical mistakes.
Here's an interesting idea. Might be fun to do a sort of pokemon style battle where you all have access to different vehicles. I'm thinking you use some third party random selector where you enter the names of all the builds you guys made for those challenges so far. The random selector randomly selects 3 for each person. Then you, the player, chooses one of those vehicles for round 1, another for round 2 and another for round 3. It could be fun to see a tank VS a plane or a helicopter VS a boat . You guys shouldn't tell each other which vehicle you chose for the round so it would be a surprise every time . I guess if the fight ends up being something like submarine VS airship then maybe you reroll that one.
You should make a video where the smoke is creation gets a point, and the one who wins a.m. battle or a race gets a point. This whole challenge you to decide between simplicity and speed or offense and defense.
I feel like these types of battles should a sort of race to get somewhere to give an incentive to go to an objective instead of just sitting in one place tryna tank the other person out
You should do an underwater driving race using the hoverpad glitch by driving under the water. Or a battle with guns, should be cool. Love what you do, been watching since the formula 1 race.
Here's an idea for a 2v2 battle - an artillery battle, but with a wall between the mobile weapons (or immobile placements). The trick here, is that there's one artillery on each side, with the teammate acting as a 'spotter' and trying to verbally aim their teammate at the opposing artillery.
If you revisit the wall battle idea maybe you could get someone to make a custom map and do the battles on walls that are on opposite sides of a canyon. This will make aiming difficult but I'd recommend using a vehicle with a seat and weapon facing upward so you can use first-person camera mode to see your enemy.
Hey, remember the multiplayer game where you would drive a car offa ramp on a cliff and try to hit a target with the car? You should do that, but make the cars over jump the targets and have bomb droppers on them, so you have to drop the bomb (or downward facing missle/cannon ball) on the target and the either closest one to bullseye or best scoring of three jumps wins.
(video idea) a dog fight without without using wings as a source of lift. aileron and elevators can be used to help with stability and steering but cannot be used to create any sort of lift or help get off the ground
Please make challange where in order to fire weapons, your vehicle must have achive a speed between a minimum and maximum speed limits in trail makers. The setup is use two speed sensors, one set to trigger above a set speed, and another set to trigger below a set speed, link them all to and gates with your gun fire button. Rules are no fancy system to keep within the set speed range

I brew up another idea. Each of you make a weird engine. Like helicopter rotor but with rocket engine or something. Restrictions: the engine must reach at least 100 with a gokart seat. Then, you exchange engines and you must build a flyer with that tipe of engine. You can duplicate, or tiplicate, the engine. Then race. With enemies on.
The slip you experienced is due to solid rock surfaces being counted as road-like surfaces for wheel grip stats. Since truck and monster wheels have less grip on road, they have less grip on the wall. I personally would have used motorcycle wheels, as their surface grip is always average regardless of the terrain type.

Hi, did you know that the smart weapons' redicle aims at the where the weapon is leading it's target. So I got a suggestion here,use only one smart canon but it doesn't fire,but use that auto aim redicle to guide unguided weapons that will be the vehicle's main weapons.

Obviously each team has one skybase and one helicopter, no rockets additionally, you could do a 2v2 with one person defending and or flying the skybase and one attacking the enemy skybase, Helicopters can attack either the enemy helicopter or enemy skybase! Please do this I’ve been asking for a while and I’d love to see this video, trust me it’s fun I’ve done it before👍 Edit: also make it so both of the skybases hover at the same altitude

My first run of the game i built an amphibious tank with a fully controllable and extendable magnet arm with another backwards magnet slightly offset so it could cushion explosives, and it was great at climbing walls underwater using downwards propulsion, didnt even need the crappy sub i built save for a few near the surface on pillars, and was useful with some modifications on the high seas too

Alternative they could retry the LAND vs AIR but this time the target to destroy is a fixed AA gun
So a 2 vs 1? The 2 player team can be battleship since the tank already has repair abilities
At this point the hover pad "glitch" doesn't even feel like a glitch anymore. It was found like 5 years ago and it's still not patched
