I COMPLETELY LOVE LINCOLN BREWSTER AS A FELLOW BROTHER IN CHRIST. WHAT AN AWESOME AND HUMBLE SERVANT OF THE LORD......WHO just so happens to be able (anointed) to play ridiculously amazingly incredibly well as EVERY secular artist will tell you. ....unless they have issues with honesty..lol Thank you from the center of my heart Lincoln. You are an inspiration for our time and we need you brother. Props to Fender as well!
Several years ago I was at a Christian music festival in South Dakota and i had heard that Lincoln Brewster was going to be the headliner on the main stage on this particular night. My son's band had already played and they wanted to hang out with their friends and check out bands on the smaller stages. I went out to the main stage and saw Lincoln holding this gold strat. Pretty cool. What i experienced next was something i will never forget. He played that guitar like he invented it. He was mesmerizing! He is crazy talented and he squeezed every last note out of that thing. He is very humble about his playing which is good.......this guy can hang with anybody. No joke! So glad you got a signature model Lincoln. You have earned it in my book. And the features on this guitar sound awesome. Any player would love this set-up. Great ideas, very toneful, and i hope these guitars sell really well. Fender is doing great work right now in all facets and with all of the new stuff i have seen and played. I can't wait to check this out!
Literally just bought a fender strat a week before this was announced! Ughh feel like swopping it for this! What an awesome spec guitar! Congrats Lincoln on finally getting your own signature model! You were the one who convinced me to do the bridge tone control mod on my old Squier! Thanks for all the inspirational worship guitar!
He is so special. Just an awesome humble dude, family man, and complete GIANT on the fretboard!! OMG does he have anointed fire flowing through those fingers! Truly a beautiful human being for sure. Thank you Yeshua Jesus for allowing us such faithful soldiers in our time. Bless you bud.
Some of you might not know that Lincoln played with Steve Perry when Steve was doing his solo gigs. Another great demo of this guitar is by Worship Musician Mag on youtube. The guy doing that demo gets some awesome tones that are spot on copies of Gibbons, Beck, Van Halen and Vaughn. Be sure to watch the whole video not just the intro and you'll see what I mean. The sound quality is much better as well. Killer tones. I bought one of these guitars strictly upon hearing that demo. It's that good. Go to 2:13 Gibbons, 3:21 Van Halen, 7:32 Beck, 8:24 Stevie Ray.
Have been patiently waiting for a Strat that was spec'd out such as this, that wasn't like every other quacky Stratocaster out there. Artist sig & USA & COLOR😱 omg! Icing on the cake! I proudly own this one now!!
I really wish we got a shot of the pugilist pedal settings he talked about. The tone from that pedal in this video along with his comment about how great the pedal is really has intrigued me to try one out for myself.
I just bought this guitar from Sweetwater...looking forward to receiving it! Looking at the specs Ill be shocked it they don't sell every one of these they make!...also I woundnt marrying the beauty in the black top and white shorts! :)
I came across this guitar while looking at signature models on Fender's site. Had never heard of Lincoln Brewster. Been digging his playing since. I'd always wanted a Clapton signature and I knew Clapton has made many modifications to the strats he plays over the years and his signature models no longer have much in common with the ones he plays except the main feature which is the 25db mid boost. It's still a great guitar. This LB strat has all the features I was looking for. I drooled over it online for months before walking into my local GC a couple days after Christmas 2020 and there on the highest row where they keep the expensive models was this beautiful gold strat. It was love at first touch. Merry Christmas to me! It took me some time to get used to the controls and has since become my #1. I also have a Eric Johnson (with QS neck) which is amazing also. A couple of things to note. Mine does not have a quarter sawn neck as Lincoln mentioned in the video. I guess Fender decided to keep the cost down? I've heard Lincoln mention that the neck is QS in this and one other video. He does not say that in the Fender promo video. Would have been nice but not a deal breaker. The other thing is he says the Ash body is light. Mine weighs in at 8lb-12oz making it my heaviest guitar, took a couple of tries to find a comfy, wide, padded strap.
Anyone nice enough to explain how he wired a 250k resistor to his neck pickup without a pot? I have my own highly modded strat with a volume, a tone wired to the bridge only and a blender knob on the bottom tone pot. This leaves my middle and neck wide open but i've been finding my neck pickup a lil too trebly for a few applications. Does putting a resistor on the neck pickup (like what Lincoln did with this strat) warm it up a tad?
it's like a Clapton model without a big boost (only 10 db vs 25) wihtout a tbx and we don't know how it sounds for high gain settings with the bridge pickup and about the sustain-harmonics (pickups have vintage output ) but the tuners-tremolo are better than the Clapton strat but for the tremolo, maybe not as good as Fender Beck strat
Just discovered this, now have severe G.A.S. for this guitar - I just love the features of this particular artist model. Rare as hen's teeth here in the UK for some reason. I detect more than a little Jeff Beck influence in this chap?
Why i took mine back to guitar center. The body routing is hsh i would of prefrred sss. The vintage locking tuners are a pain.you cannot let the string go beyound a half turn or you will hear a funky noise sort of like something loose or wrong itcwill drive you nuts trying to tune your guitar. I much prefer normal vintage tuners. Yhe dimarzio pickups are sort of ok but very sterile sounding they dontvhave the sweet fenser single coil tone. Th boost if you like it or you dont i did not. The neck is great other than the sticky coating on it. It was a great ideal just poorly executed by fender. I think it qas a way to get tid of over produced parts in a new market of chritian fans. Shame on them!
@@Jerrybandfan what's the story on the "Mohawk"? Because I know the real story of why my people, who are actually Mohawk, wear it. Btw this is no Mohawk lmaooooo! This is a white boy's Mohawk.
Too much reverb and effects. U dont need a strat to sound like that for sure, any decent guitar can sound like that with effects. What are the people goin for the sound of the strat or the effect? Cheers!
It’s a bout time. This guy is so under the radar because he’s in the christian circuit. Guy has some amazing chops. Really cool.
he used to be Steve Perry's guitarist, he layed the guitar tracks down on "For the love of strange medicine".
Maybe the most usable and intuitive strat, Ever Released! I’m very impressed with the LB Fender offering.
Sounds good
, pics Guitar by having fun
Wish I was there! One of my all time favorite artists!

As a worship guitar player, I really don't want to like this as much as I do. 🤣 I love it.

Where'd you get it? I'm sure they would accommodate you if it was an upgrade
Lincoln is a great and talented musician.
Great Pastor and a huge singer and Guitar player! God bless

One Sunday Pastor Curt talked about how Lincoln will burn your face off with his guitar... so I would have to call this the flame thrower. Congrats!
fender killing it with the signature strats lately. ed o'brien, edge, and now this.
I really wish we got a shot of the pugilist pedal settings he talked about. The tone from that pedal in this video along with his comment about how great the pedal is really has intrigued me to try one out for myself.
Dude... I'm loving that mid boost a lot more than I should.
Just bought one, brother keeping your name on it. Not my number one but happy to have it in my arsenal. You deserved this sig. Happy holidays
I want one and love Lincoln’s music too especially his version of everlasting God! Thanks Fender for making the guitar I’m buying one!
OMG Lincoln.....did you HAVE to envision the perfect strat.....did you! ha ha
คนนี้แหละสุดยอดเลย และแล้วเฟนเดอร์ก็ทำ signature LB คักขนาด I realylove your song, GOD bless.

I want to like this like 1 gazillion times!!!! 😉😃 it just sounds amazing.
somebody needs to put some kitty litter under ol gal in the white shorts. soak up all that.
he should make more demo for the trem-sustain and harmonics with the bar
This guitar is a beast !

Fantastic spec
I want one!!
Congratulations
So, what are we calling this thing: The Lincoln or The Brewster? I kind of like them both.
Anyone nice enough to explain how he wired a 250k resistor to his neck pickup without a pot?

Lincoln, fyi Mike Campbell has a green Rickenbacker mandolin with a whammy. He calls it "little Ricky"
Wow this is amazing !!
Can anyone chime in and say what delay and amp he was using, here?
Go Lincoln!
So what amp is he using here?
Great guitar
it's like a Clapton model without a big boost (only 10 db vs 25)

Man that's bad hair!
Freaking sweeeeeeeeet!!!!!
i thought its the newsboy's drummer hahaha
19:31 Your welcome 😎
I’d like this. But don’t have the bread necessary to buy it 😳

The guitar will age very well, the haircut not so much.
NO TBX
no Beck's trem
alnico II pickups (not 5) : sweet tone
only 10 db boost and not 25 like CLapton
so not perfect at all for me
Lincoln Brewster is an amazing guitarist. His hair choices are a bit much. 😬
I love his hair choices! I look forward to seeing him lead worship at church.
If you heard the story on the Mohawk you would change your mind it is quite a story. This is a lifelong commitment since he was school age.
@@Jerrybandfan what's the story on the "Mohawk"? Because I know the real story of why my people, who are actually Mohawk, wear it. Btw this is no Mohawk lmaooooo! This is a white boy's Mohawk.
So glad somebody else said something.
