This is something other analog horror series haven't really been able to capture, the emotional pathos. They might be more frightening in imagery than this series, but just something as simple as white text on a background set to bittersweet music saying, "You are good, Michael. Despite what you may think, you do deserve this happy ending. I love you Michael." Has had more of an impact on me than anything else in this genre.
Addendum: After watching the most recent Harmony and Horror episode, I stand firmly corrected in that this series was the only one able to properly deliver emotional pathos.
I like how the Puppet is this wholesome entity that really wants to help the kids and Michael and sees the best in almost everyone involved. This was actually really sweet and I wish we could’ve gotten something like this in the games.
What I like is the implication that Charlie and Michael were friends and possibly had feelings for each other in this version, I always felt like the canon never took advantage of the fact that Henry and William were friends to maybe have the 2 families know each other. Wich would make what happens even more Tragic.

not enough people are talking about the absolutely emotional ending. imo, a major part of fnaf that is often overlooked is the tragedy of it all - kids died. and lots of them. and families were ruined and people are trying their best to undo what was done to either them or other people and it’s all just - really good. and really sad. this video was EXCELLENT. it perfectly laced together the horror and tragedy of fnaf that i adore.

plus, the springlocks are extremely fragile!!! Breathing or sweating too heavy on those weak links and *SNAP* your body is mushier than the pizzas your supposed to be giving to the customers. But what I meant by this is, when you watch squims videos, you feel uncomfortable you feel like you need a light on. I don't get that feeling when playing fnaf which is okay, but squims videos just hit different.
The fact that a random child possessing a children's entertainment puppet animatronic showed more love to Mike than William ever did really adds to the "Reasons to Hate William List."
I don't think she was random, I think she is Charlie like in Canon. And in this version was Michael's best friend before her death and possibly more then that do to her 'I love you Michael'
I mean, it's not a "random child", it's a child he knew (Charlie). She was a family friend. The "more than that" from the commenter above me is out of pocket since she was only 11 upon death and he was around 16 (and in the game lore I think she's supposed to be even younger) but she was probably like a little sister to him. The human tragedy of it all is what really gets me about this story.
Okay, let’s completely remove the terror by just deconstructing it, shall we? Freddy ripped apart with a smile? More like, “Animatronic with dead child inside it being disassembled for cleaning”. Chica and her Wonderful Song? More like, “Depressed animatronic with dead kid inside talking about how she’s dead”. Foxy meets the happy man? More like, “Cartoon of an animatronic corrupted to have a vision of a serial killer”.
I doubt anything can scare Michael anymore, nothing can beat being scooped and used as a meat suit for god knows how long and then coming back in (mostly) one piece, he probably just shrugged these videos off and went to burn his dad to second death.

I find it odd that The Puppet or Charlie was talking to Michael as if they were best friends. Like she knew him very well. My theory is that they were childhood best friends and they did a lot of things together. Keep in mind that Michael was a victim of his father's abuse so it was important for him to reach out to someone who could help him go through some heavy stuff. But alas, the friendship ended when Charlie met her demise at the hands of Michael's own father. Now, the "I love you, Michael" part is what makes this video interesting. Maybe Michael started to have feelings for Charlie since they were really close friends, but was scared to admit it and decided to keep it a secret until it was too late. Charlie probably realized this in the afterlife and decided to reach out to him via the tape in the video. She wants to help him heal and have a happy ending, she thinks he deserves it 'cause of dear old dad's not-so-good treatment of him and the weight of his younger brother's death crushing him. Assuming it's the case, that is. If so, this story just unfolds so many layers between the characters.
My opinion! The " I love you " was probaly the other way around, because Charlie died at the age of 11 and Michael was at that time around 14/15, so Charlie could have been the one with the crush and not Michael
Or she could’ve been saying I love you like how you would say I love you too a sibling. They were probably really close considering Will And Henry were best friends
@@KennyLastname Read the books, it's practically spilling with evidence. :) In the Security Logbook Michael keeps referencing to himself being the crying child (Draws Nightmare Fredbear, mentions the talking Fredbear plush, favorite toy is purple telephone, ect.) On top of that, in the Silver Eyes book series Charlie was "rebuilt" just like the Fredbear plush (William Afton) said he would do to the Crying Child. And although it is an alternate timeline, it's important because Charlie's story is basically mirroring Michael's. (A child who is killed but then "rebuilt") That's why the recent Fredbear DLC was a metaphor for the crying child being reanimated: like Frankenstein. Hope this answers some questions!
I got an idea that might relate to the message when they said there were four tapes in their empty heads. “Freddy” was torn apart “Bonnie” tried to run away “Chica” begged *him* to stop “Foxy” had met him, had no way to escape, making *him* happy. *The Fifth* was found while trying to hide. I’m probably wrong though
in my mind *the fifth* (Cassidy) was killed most brutally out of the five kids....William shoved her into the Fredbear suit ALIVE and triggered a springlock failure. That's how she died.
The thing that scared me the most was the part when the springbonnie suit was shown with heavy breathing. With all of FNAF's stupid fandom, people are beginning to forget that it's supposed to be a horror game. You have brought back all the old fear, so thanks a lot dude.
fnaf does not have a bad fandom, you just like ingoring the good side. There are so many people that just see one bad thing, and instantly assume all of it is bad.
Man, the last part always gets me. An older brother whom had accidentally killed his brother from accidentally teasing him too far. Then Facing the wrath and hate of his father afterwards, and as he grows he is left more alone. Working dead-end jobs to keep up with bills. Then he finds the tape that tells him all the secrets, it was Michael’s destiny. His crusade against a vengeful and angry man with complex emotions.
The video of the spring lock failure is the worst thing I’ve seen in a while. If you think about it even a little bit, you realize just how horrifying it must have been to climb inside one of those things, knowing the risk that you could lose your life so easily. You would worry, and start to breathe heavier. Then, the inevitable. You knew this would happen as soon as you turned that crank. Imagine a spring lock costume like a series of loose rings around your limbs, chest, and neck. If the spring lock fails, the tight spring instantly loosens, crushing whatever is in that ring. Imagine this happening in multiple areas of every limb. It’s like every limb is under a hydraulic press. The absolute pain of a spring lock failure is unimaginably terrifying.
The worst part about it is, it slowly gets worse to the point where it goes past the bone (Which is kinda why I don’t like scraptrap’s design, that feature was notably in the original design in the mouth)

These tapes were fantastic, they were scary, put together so cleverly, and this video tied them together to make sense of many things. You couldn't of done a better job keeping me interested in these videos, and if you plan to make more, I'd be more than happy to see them, and I'm sure many more would be too, outstanding job to you and those who also helped create these.

I really love Fredbear's little speach at the end talking about how a good friend is the best thing you can ever have I don't know, it makes me feal good for some reason in this context
“A good friend is the best thing you could ever have. When life just isn’t good to you, they’ll always be there to help” This is definitely my favorite part of the video. It’s basically telling you that behind all this murder and hopelessness, there is still good in them. There not just killer robots, they have emotions (More emotions than half the shit people I know) It’s bittersweet. Fnaf isn’t just a horror franchise, there can still be those heart wrenching moments, and that’s what I got out of this video.
Its sad because Henry and Michael are the only ones alive among the 2 families. And Charlie (The Puppet) is talking to Michael about his father, brother, and forgiveness.

Charlie is the kid that died inside Golden Freddy. The puppet is Wendy Ellie, Henry's daughter, whom William killed outside Family Dinner, resulting in the security puppet sealing the corpse inside him.
This video gave me so many vibes, first to be creeped out, to oddly feeling heart warmed at the end when fredbear and springbonnie were telling their story and the text talking to Michael, everything about this video is just amazing.

Something about this video, especially the second half, is so oddly calming and nostalgic to me in a weird way. I know It’s telling a horrible story of a man brutally murdered who wants to see his son, despite all of the wrongdoings he has caused. But the atmosphere and editing are so well made, It feels exactly like an old VHS tape, more so than any of the other ones in the series. I love this series and will always remember it.

I think because the story is so ridiculously convoluted not many people play fnaf for the story anymore and just plays it for the mediocre horror or gameplay, which kinda leads into the fact that people just makes shitposts since the jokes are the only easily understandable part.
I think the first 4 games where the best ones. in my opinion I think it should've ended at 4. Sister location probably would've been scarier if the humor wasn't there
This honestly made me really emotional once I realized who was talking to whom, and about what. You have a really brilliant eye for these, in addition to telling a compelling story. A lot of stuff's goin' on here, but it's essentially instructions on how to find William and end this all, after the events of Sister Location most likely. The story is working under the assumption that Michael may have been the Fazbear's Fright guard (among other things). I dunno, I just hadn't considered the idea of a timeline interpretation where Charlie and Michael might've been friends before her murder, but ever since seeing this I've thought it was an oddly sweet headcanon. Goodness knows Michael needs more friends.

I find it odd that The Puppet or Charlie was talking to Michael as if they were best friends. Like she knew him very well. My theory is that they were childhood best friends and they did a lot of things together. Keep in mind that Michael was a victim of his father's abuse so it was important for him to reach out to someone who could help him go through some heavy stuff. But alas, the friendship ended when Charlie met her demise at the hands of Michael's own father.
Now, the "I love you, Michael" part is what makes this video interesting. Maybe Michael started to have feelings for Charlie since they were really close friends, but was scared to admit it and decided to keep it a secret until it was too late. Charlie probably realized this in the afterlife and decided to reach out to him via the tape in the video. She wants to help him heal and have a happy ending, she thinks he deserves it 'cause of dear old dad's not-so-good treatment of him and the weight of his younger brother's death crushing him.
Assuming it's the case, that is. If so, this story just unfolds so many layers between the characters.

In the Security Logbook Michael keeps referencing to himself being the crying child (Draws Nightmare Fredbear, mentions the talking Fredbear plush, favorite toy is purple telephone, ect.)
On top of that, in the Silver Eyes book series Charlie was "rebuilt" just like the Fredbear plush (William Afton) said he would do to the Crying Child. And although it is an alternate timeline, it's important because Charlie's story is basically mirroring Michael's. (A child who is killed but then "rebuilt")
That's why the recent Fredbear DLC was a metaphor for the crying child being reanimated: like Frankenstein.

The thing that scared me the most was the part when the springbonnie suit was shown with heavy breathing. The loud snap of the springlocks breaking almost gave me a heart attack and how I could actually hear the pain in the mans voice inside scared me.

The video of the spring lock failure is the worst thing I’ve seen in a while.
If you think about it even a little bit, you realize just how horrifying it must have been to climb inside one of those things, knowing the risk that you could lose your life so easily. You would worry, and start to breathe heavier. Then, the inevitable. You knew this would happen as soon as you turned that crank.
Imagine a spring lock costume like a series of loose rings around your limbs, chest, and neck. If the spring lock fails, the tight spring instantly loosens, crushing whatever is in that ring. Imagine this happening in multiple areas of every limb. It’s like every limb is under a hydraulic press. The absolute pain of a spring lock failure is unimaginably terrifying.

This is definitely my favorite part of the video. It’s basically telling you that behind all this murder and hopelessness, there is still good in them. There not just killer robots, they have emotions (More emotions than half the shit people I know) It’s bittersweet. Fnaf isn’t just a horror franchise, there can still be those heart wrenching moments, and that’s what I got out of this video.

This video gave me so many vibes, first to be creeped out, to oddly feeling heart warmed at the end when fredbear and springbonnie were telling their story and the text talking to Michael, everything about this video is just amazing.

god the way that the hiss of the static dies down and that calm music creeps in at the end is just mesmerising.
Something about this video, especially the second half, is so oddly calming and nostalgic to me in a weird way. I know It’s telling a horrible story of a man brutally murdered who wants to see his son, despite all of the wrongdoings he has caused. But the atmosphere and editing are so well made, It feels exactly like an old VHS tape, more so than any of the other ones in the series. I love this series and will always remember it.

A lot of stuff's goin' on here, but it's essentially instructions on how to find William and end this all, after the events of Sister Location most likely. The story is working under the assumption that Michael may have been the Fazbear's Fright guard (among other things).
I dunno, I just hadn't considered the idea of a timeline interpretation where Charlie and Michael might've been friends before her murder, but ever since seeing this I've thought it was an oddly sweet headcanon. Goodness knows Michael needs more friends.
