Thank you for breaking it all down for us! I really enjoy these type of videos where people keep it real about their travels. Ghana is def on my list to see one day!
Of course, glad you liked this style! I’ll make sure to do a breakdown with future trips too 🙌🏽 Can’t wait for you to experience Ghana for yourself girl
Africa is definitely a bucket list experience for me. I know a couple people in Ghana from my internship from 2018. I thought about them hosting me. Just been a bit scared not going to lie.
It’s a good time to give it a try! The city was bustling both with folks coming home and first-timers like me back in December, I hope you reach out to your internship connects and get to experience it soon 💕
That is a lengthy process to get there, but i had a feeling it would be all worth it ! 🙌🏽 but one day for me, Ghana is most def going on my bucket list.
They might have relaxed since December but when I went.. if you didn't have a Ghanaian resident to endorse you, you had to get a letter from the hotel or someone else on the ground there. Hopefully, that's not the case anymore!
It can definitely be a hit or miss. Going from the U.s to Trinidad & Tobago for many years had me ready for other places. But since the pandemic i haven't explored out of the U.S . Ine day I'll be out there. Great info!
I think it’s a new thing because my friend who has family there said she’d never seen them do all that before. Not sure how long it’ll be that way though!
Yea this part 2 was good. I was wondering about the requirements for travel. Yes do a Uber chronicles series. You can do it for each place you visited 😁
Yeah it was definitely a process so I had to give yall the breakdown. And you know what, that’s not a bad idea girl.. I have more Uber stories than I probably should at this point anyway 😂
Wow, new here. Going to Ghana or anywhere in Africa, you need to go with open mind.Take things as they come and you will enjoy it. You need to be aware everything is slow there. customer service, The pavements and so many things will drive you crazy. Uber or Bold will make you crazy and so on. If one try to compare with where you are coming from, in the west, then one will be very disappointed. Just have open mind and be patience, then you enjoy the place. Welcome Home my Sister. I just subscribed.
@@KayBrynae Dec is peak travel season so flights and hospitality industry take advantage big time and hike up prices. I'm sure you know but Always try to book your flight as early as possible, at least 90 days+ out to get best prices
why all the Extra requirements to go to Ghana! 🤨🤨i believe it’s a deterrent to keep from traveling to Ghana! Like Leave us alone!! this’s what happens when too much attention is being put out there!
You at 253 now let’s goooooo 🥳🥳
Good episode thanks
I really cant wait to visit Ghana one day,I've heard only good things about the people😊
One of the best parts of the experience for sure!
Coming from Toronto and visiting Ghana, the ppl are soooo welcoming and I diffinatelty did not feel black there I was just me & represented
Tu peux faire un tour en Côte d'Ivoire... c'est juste à la frontière à 50kms.
Moi, je suis Francophone, de la Côte d'Ivoire...

So if I don’t know anyone in Ghana I can’t visit?

LMAO the uber stories are hilarious/ridiculous/scary. thankfully you weren't alone
Uber definitely tried to catch us slipping a few times but we laughed about it later 😂
@@KayBrynae #memories
the representation on billboards sounds dope
OMG that's doing a lot (the visa and address and stuff), wonder if that's due to covid or their normal routine
I think it’s a new thing because my friend who has family there said she’d never seen them do all that before. Not sure how long it’ll be that way though!
It's easy n not scary haha just book hotel or Abnb u ll get address simple lol

L' Afrique c'est un continent de 54 pays....,plus grand continent du monde !!!!
You could write a book with all these stories lol
If you don’t come back with 2 or 3 good stories, why even take the trip? lol
Wait, not with the Uber driving making pit stops lol
Right! But really what could I do at that point? Might as well sit back and enjoy the ride 😂
Posing at a slave castle 🥴🤦🏽♀️
Right, like where is the home training??

It definitely kept some people I know from going. Who knows? Maybe it’s a temporary covid thing
