Liked this too where were the opening two tracks recorded do you know? I don't remember seeing anything in the commentary. Finishing with some church bells was a great touch; typical Peter Handford...😀
The sleeve notes don't tell us where it was but being on board a navy vessel I guess it could be Portsmouth or Plymouth. The recording was made in 1957 so there would have been a much greater choice of naval establishments.
