I worked on the first remodel, and big sealift expansion, I think it was back about 1978. I also recall seeing about -72F on the monitor at 3:30 back in the late 80's. I just looked and the official lowest official recorded temp was -62f but I recall the airport and our calibrated thermometer at the air quality site near CCP was (as I recall around -74f.)
stuka52 I was in Kuparuk in 1980 doing seismic work and the a year later was doing well logging and my first job was at the pad right across from base camp. Worked up there steady for 19 year. The 80s and 2005 to 2013. Worked a pump station for 6 years also.

I was at Kaparuk camp from Jan to March 1986. Diversion Tank project. The space shuttle blew up and Chicago won the Super bowl.
