The only reason I doubt the wood portion being open is that the trail was practically unchanged since last year.
Open C class was before us. Typically Vet 30 C is a bit more chill on our starts mainly because we usually get stopped in one or two turns by Open C class riders piling up in the first two corners.... This day it was pretty hot so it could also be attributed to saving our energy.
I was in this race, got the holeshot, then ran into a bottle neck. I picked my bike up right before you went by. I was on a black Yamaha/black gear. Where did you place? I felt I rode a real solid race after my crash, and ended up fifth. I thought I did much better than that. I was averaging 15 minute laps.

wow has that place changed, I started racing there back in 83 when i was 8, raced there and at maplehurst for years

You did much better than I did, I ended up 7th by the end with 6 laps completed.
