The cream is a moisturizing cream to help calm the curls, so they don't get frizzy. If you put it in your straight hair, it would be crazy, don't do that. Your hair would be greasy and heavy. It is only for curly hair. Naturally curly hair is curly when it's wet and curly when it's dry. It's just curly. It's one of the more silly yet also frustrating things that I've encountered here in Korea -- people think I don't understand them because I'm a foreigner and they'll ask me where I get my hair permed, I'll tell them it's natural, and they'll nod like they believe me, and then turn and say (in Korean) to someone "it's a perm, she is lying."

Though I have odd curly hair. I can just as easily make my hair straight or put cream in my hair to get curls. Well not always. When the humidity is bad there’s no hiding the curls even if I do straighten my hair but all the other days it’s easy.

Also a thing to know is that not all races with curly hair will have everyone with curly hair. For example, not all Hispanics will have curly Latina hair. I had super curly hair up until I was 3-4 years old then they all went away due to the lack of care and knowledge with my guardians of a different race. Over 10 years later at 17, I am trying to find what is best for my natural curls, and it is not easy.
Yeah it takes a lot of time to take care of curly hair I use to have kinda long hair for a men and it took me like 30 min to do my hair. I cannot imagine how much work is for a female.

That why my straight hair friends often jealous of my hair cuz they cannot curl their hair to stay long! Yeah it doesn't work for me. I was so frustrated before finding the product actually adapted to me (blueberry bliss btw). I went from frizzy hair that I used to shave (I'ma a guy) to nice curls on longer hair. These products can really be life-saving.
I've tried it but it's made for African hair and I'm white so I tend to get oily roots so it totally makes my hair too oily, plus I hate the smell of coconut!

Those cream "Shea Moisture" or "Cantu" are used for slightly curly or really really curly/kinky hair. They help us control the frizzyness! They do wonders in kinky hair 😍 But can be too greasy for some type of hair...

But I don’t walk around like that obviously, I have a routine too so my hair doesn’t look like that, but if you grew up with curly hair, chances are you are going to be called hagrid or hermione in middle school.

As someone with natural super curly hair, we do need various products so that the curls stay defined. I personally don't like to diffuse my hair, but just to style it makes my arms hurt. And the fact that some people don't even believe my hair is natural (not really in my home country but in other countries) is quite annoying. There was even a guy in my class that thought I curled my hair every morning 😂 like who would have that much patience! kkkk

Those routines would only works for someone with actual curly hair. If the routine work it’s only because the person has at least looser curls but still curls. On a straight or 2a wave pattern it would does nothing, the hair would still look straight or stringy at best but not curly... though I don’t see anything wrong with someone curling his hair, many people straighten their hair so why not ?

Less volume more density, people with curly and coils hair have density and shrinkage it adds mass amounts of volume that is sometimes not wanted, I have 3a-4b hair and it’s a struggle I swear.
There is all this talk trying to educate them that “it’s not a perm! It’s not a perm! It’s natural!”..when in the video they clearly exclaim “I can’t believe it’s natural!”. So they clearly recognize it’s natural, but they are just shocked by it, since it’s not normal for Koreans to see this type of hair in their country unless it’s by a perm.

it's called an attached earlobe, I think it might be slightly more common in East Asians, it's very common in my husband's family in China too. If you don't recognize it you probably have a detached earlobe.

it's called an attached earlobe, I think it might be slightly more common in East Asians, it's very common in my husband's family in China too. If you don't recognize it you probably have a detached earlobe.

I think curly hair or wavy or volumous is much more fun and beautiful than straight hair with flat top. My opinion. Straight hair is BORING. Unless it super duper long and you can do cool styles with it. I have naturally body wave hair and WISH I have curly hair.
