Yer its a mad spot. They come pretty close aswell the dolphins. Good day out at least besides when it got too windy.
Awesome episode mate cracking flathead, you’ve definitely got the American Bass master strike down 😂😂😂 I was out this afternoon using the Daiwa Double clutch got a few steep learning curve 😂😂👊👊
Double clutch catches alot of flattys, i always hear of people using it. The strikes are necessary to get the huge hooks in 🤣 an even then sometimes as u seen they still dont pin the fish even if its hit that hard it becomes airbourne.

Was a Krackin day on the water. That morning tide was epic with a total change of .3 of a meter, made for good fishing without fighting the current & the wind.

Slowly getting there pete numbers aren't exactly over the top but at least iv caught some solid flattys for now. A big 1 could b just around the corner.

Thanks Matt, theres some decent size flattys here so trying to beat my pb of 91cm is at least a possibility. An no havnt tried them iv been using big swimbaits of late to really target bigger fish. Surprisingly still getting 50-60cm fish on them aswell.
The croc hunt continues lowey should try if yur really wanting to get that croc try big suger pen or I see u like yur shamanio gear try a flashpoint swimmbait they work good for em want get nothing but 80 n up
Yer mate 80cm an up is a good starting point as crazy as most ppl would think that sounds. I have a few new spots in mind im going to try aswell fingers crossed see what happens.
Good stuff mate, how shallow did you pull that big one from? recently got myself a barra tune double clutch but it dives too deep for the flats I fish so back to the plastics. good to see dolphins around as well, do you reckon it was a luderick that was fleeing from them next to your boat? also that fish around 8:40 might've laid on the lure, apparently its a thing the big ones do instead of always swallowing the bait cheers
