In MCC 16 grian had a panic attack. In MCC 17 he gave everyone else panic attack with that dodgeball clutch.

And Dream isn't that good at pvp. He just has gamesense. Another thing being that his hunters are not very good, which makes dream look better than he really is.

After losing so many times, Grian got the win in the best way possible. Literally a movie ending.
Gotta love Pete telling him it's okay when Grian was apologizing before it was over. You can't give up!!! That was epic. These championships are so fun. Not only for viewers but players too. Minecraft definitely is an epic game. I'm happy for Grian winning his first mcc with the epic clutch at the end. Now join captain sparkles to get him his first too!
I think one of my favorite moments Out of the Games was just Pete repeatedly telling Grian not to Apologize for giving them a 900 Coin Lead in Build Mart from his "Bossiness" It was just Wholesome-

It’s kinda crazy that grian is genuinely becoming a top ten player, even if you count out his skybattle kills which he still earned in my opinion. That’s twice now he’s finished top ten. He’s genuinely just good at the game
despite his general pvp or parkour skills not being too good
I'll say it now he does better than most people in stressful situations
keep in mind he was facing ILLUMINA NAD FRUIT, sorry I'm not fully sure who the other 2 are, BUT ILLUMINA AND FRUITBERRIES, AND HE WON

I wanna say his skybattle win is still legit. It was muscle memory and instinct that placed that TNT. He was holding his sword falling but switched to TNT and panic placed it. XD
@@stilldimm4110 His general pvp and parkour skills are not that bad anymore tbh. In MCC16 he got top 10 in PKT. PKW was a game that caused him to nearly start crying on stream but that's gone now and he's also pretty good at SB and SG and an incredible team player.
This was so GREAT watching live. I couldn't watch at the end, it was so intense. Well played and GG on the win, so deserved

For context fruitberries and grian had lost the dodgebolt in the last event together and illumina had reverse swept grian in his dodgebolt before that (with an almost identical team too)
And fruit had beaten Pete in MCC 6. Orange ocelots were just taking their revenge against pink.Also in the MCC 13 dodge bolt illumina had reverse swept grian Pete and false. SB is literally the only player on orange who was not there for revenge. (jk)

The end was THE MOST HYPE THING I have experienced in a while. I saw it on Tommy’s vod and it WAS EPICC
I have never spent such a tense few moments watching MCC! Let me tell you, I am not a sports fan. I never understood why people would shout at their television or get upset. NOW I do. I was on my feet by the end, being breathless, and urging you on. Then I was shouting when you got that final strike.
My son came running to make sure I was okay, and then calmly said, "I thought you didn't like sports?" My reply was, "This is Grian and Minecraft. It is not JUST a sport."
So now, I have discovered I can indeed get that excited and invested in something. :) Thanks for the blast, you and your team. I have been watching MCC regularly for only a few months and regularly pick different Hermits and those from 3rd (Last) Life to watch. I am so glad I chose you this time. It was quite an exhausting but wonderful experience.
Grian Dreamslayer has performed multiple clutches in the history of MCC and I can confirm that he will pull off so many more in future
