We NEED a season 3. This whole series and the previous one were so incredibly entertaining to watch and from multiple perspectives as well. The content would also come from BEYOND the actual youtubers from the series ( artists for example who would recreate the most insane dramatic scenes out there ). I personally loved this season and I definitely want to see more.
Yes! I 100% agree. I also really appreciated the pacing of this season. Sometimes a series with a bigger number of people feels overwhelming because of the need to catch up or choose between perspectives. One week was the perfect amount of time to catch up on everyone's perspectives without needing to dedicate every second of your free time to this series and this series only.
I think the Mumbo and Grian storyline was one of the best parts of this series. They both started out as allies in the Southlands, then Mumbo goes rogue after being exiled from it, constantly trying to kill Grian after that, until they have one final battle against each other where everything started, the Southland Castle, now in ruins and a state of dismay. It's kind of like the story of Portal 2, in a way.
@@sillyman2 It would have. If the southerners just trusted each other more, things would be much more fun to watch. After Grian killed Jimmy, if Martin had stopped grian from killing mumbo and transferred a life, the south lands would be back, other than Jimmy. When Martin was the boogeyman he could have told the rest of the southerners and asked them to help him get a kill. After that the south lands would be one of the few factions surviving and prospering. The next few sessions would be even better then Grian and Mumbo’s storyline, one of 2 things could happen, they could go into another civil war with one of them turning red, which is more likely, or they all survive for a couple sessions and we see a server wide war between the reds and yellow and green/dark green names.
I remember back when Mindcrack invented UHC games that lasted multiple hours, and then many groups of TH-camrs and players did the same and it became super popular. This series is going to be the same. Every detail about it is great, most notably the fact that alliances are not pre-defined teams and may break at any moment. Watching it feels like watching Game of Thrones sometimes.
I agree. In fact, there's already an SMP based off of Last Life, called RD-Last Life, which is essentially Last Life but with famous people from the Rhythm Doctor Lounge (by the way, check out Rhythm Doctor, it's a good game)
Scar basically scamming people out of resources using painted glass passed off as magic crystals and hijacking the enchanter was the funniest part of this series.
Idea for the next session: all players are put into pairs and if one dies, they both lose a life. Maybe either have this apply to everyone over the entire season, or a randomly selected pair each session.
Do a season 3! There is no way that you can't honestly. Everyone wants it, everyone loves it. The boogeyman was a great addition, but I saw suggestion for a reverse boogeyman where you have a bounty and the person who kills the person with the bounty gets an extra life and if nobody kills them then they get the extra life. Credit to whoever it was, I can't find the original post now. Honestly last life and third life were the best series and extremely interesting and fun to watch. Also the only time I have branched out that much

The Diamond bit will always be my #1 best Last life AND Grian and Mumbo bits. The genuine laughter from both and the fact that the moment they don't say it is when they find Diamonds is one the greatest moments I've ever seen.
I died laughing the first time I saw the "WELL MY DIAMONDS ARE RIGHT HERE!" bit, and I'm still dying watching it over again, my face hurts from smiling.
a season three would be so amazing, the dynamics between everybody is so fun to watch and brings so many good bits and great laughs. this series means so much to me i think a s3 but changing up so many rules and more plugins would be amazing.
Last life was one very very good experiment. I am in love with how fast people change their characters and fit in the role of boogieman. I saw somewhere an idea to put levels on how hard the game is. Like you start with the easiest and go to hardcore at the end. And tnt can kill player. I really enjoyed every episode of you hermitcraft series and all the last life too. From Ethos pov, it was honestly terrifying watching Joel getting so many kills in the last few episodes. It made much more sense once I saw it was both grian and Joel working together to kill them and Joel just so happened to get the killing blows lol
Between the Aha jokes of Last Life, the Bad Boys moments of Limited Life and the puns between Mumbo and Grian in Secret Life, the Life series (or Traffic SMP according to some fans) has no shortage of highlights on Grian's end

Last Life is, hands down, one of the things I look forward to the most when it is happening, even more than events like MCC and such. It's always so full of fun and thrills and DRAMA, I can only imagine what would happen to a last life in 1.18 (or 1.19 i suppose), with it also being on hard mode for most of the episodes, lol. Still crossing my fingers that one day someone will set up base fully in the nether, imagine how cool that would be!!!
Last life was cool, although I feel like the stricter red life rules (no allying between green and red lives) made it so that the moment you turned red you were kicked out of your alliance group, which inevitably lead to a green vs red war rather than a faction vs faction war (like in 3rd life).
I saw an Idea somewhere that suggested that reds could team with yellow, but not green. Green and red would be separate but yellow could ally either, which would give yellow life something special rather than being another green.
Yeah, but to balance it out they introduced the hability to give a life; so strong teams will be able to survive on green by giving lives to each other if necesary and killing member of other alliances if they got boogieman so if someone goes red it isn't necesary for the team to break that alliance, they can just give a life, also red names are intended to be a threat, for everyone, not a free-pass for your alliance to start acting like red names
This is one of the best things I've watched the past few years. The "ah-ha!" bit made me laugh harder than i've ever laughed. I'd really enjoy to see another series like this sometime soon!!!
what an experience! i really loved last life, and all of the creators involved did a wonderful job, per usual. however, i did miss the loyalty and the importance of alliances. in last life, all alliances were temporary, as they were only valid until you turned red. they held little to no importance in the game itself, since as long as members weren’t red, bickering alliances could not attack each other, and when one person did turn red, they often disregarded their past alliances and/or grudges for the sake of chaos. i miss the crazy, chaotic war between factions that third life beheld all throughout!
I think that's a big reason why I was rooting for Scott and Pearl to win, because there was a strong alliance there with almost full trust, whereas groups such as The Southlands, BEST, and the Fairy Fort alliances kept things from one another and were too big to sustain such alliances based on the number of lives.
@@fnaffoxy1987 The Southlands especially because of the number of hidden betrayals and not so subtle ones, like Jimmy running with a life, Impulse giving a skull to Scott, and Martin secretly being in the shadow alliance. There may be other things I don't know about.
I loved the series. At the start I was just watching Grian and Mumbo’s POV, by the end I was pretty much jumping out of bed on Tuesday mornings excited to see whose videos were already posted, and watching everyone throughout the day. Really hoping there’s another season.
I was watching this and just as grian screamed "no scaaaaaar" i looked up and right in front of me was a big abandoned Factory with three big signs saying "SCAR" on it. The timing was impeccable.
one of my favorite parts...is watching Tango give Bdubs a life then get betrayed imediantly.....then just...unhinged Tango asking Mumbo is he wants a new friend. that alongside Grian and Mumo's "i've hidden them right here" gag
Loved this season. Shame you didnt win, but i also wanted scott/pearl, so it wasnt a total loss for the series. It was quite a different series than season 1, but i think thats a good thing. the boogey rule made things like a game of among us (for better or for worse) but it kept things interesting. I'd love to see a season three with a few more new people (my hopes are for falsesymmetry, geminitay, cubfan, and maybe a wildcard like petezahhutt) i cant wait for more of this smp, and good luck in the upcoming mcc

I love this series so much. I really want a season 3. Also I have seen quite a lot of youtube polls telling them to choose their favourite minecraft series and last life was winning a lot of them. So I think you should definitely make a season 3

3rd life and last life, we’re so much fun. You kind of get to see a more chaotic side to people. And that’s what I enjoyed most about these series. Would really like a 3rd season at some point
I loooove the Third Life and Last Life series. They make me laugh so hard every time, and I keep telling my sister all about them. I also love the cast and chaos- Hermitcraft is amazing and inspiring, but it's nice to see some of the hermits take a break and go crazy every once in a while
I absolutely want a Season 3 of this series! I'm so obsessed, and I've watched almost every POV. Its an amazing series, and seeing another season would be great. Maybe even with new faces? It'd be so interesting to see new interactions and such!
Honestly this video could have been all episodes after each other and be 5 hours long, this series was gold. A few ideas for a 3rd season It would be cool if halway through a session a random server-wide event would start (PermaNight, people get a random potion effect like speed or jump boost, alot of hostile mobs spawning etc.) Global server advancements that rewards the person who gets the advancement first. This could force risqué behaviour and competitiveness between players/factions. An additional role like detective who's job could be to kill the boogieman before they are cured to gain a reward but gets punished if they kill an innocent lastlifer.

please please PLEASE do a season 3!! this is the most chaotic series i've ever watched and i always looked forward to tuesdays with dread to see what insane shenanigans yall got up to. it was so entertaining everytime and every episode never fails to deliver such insanity! if i may suggest though, if you still want to implement the 'red lives must leave their alliances' rule in season 3, then i think red lives should get a higher advantage than green/yellow lives. the main problem i have with that rule (aside from the fact there are no more of the green-red duos iconic of the first season but i'm not too stoked about that) is that the red lives go down very easy, despite them supposed to be the predators of the server. couple that with the fact that most of the server aren't too skilled in pvp, the rule that red lives can attack others unprovoked isn't quite an advantage. i would suggest that red lives should get a natural and lasting regeneration and strength boost to make them more powerful and stronger, otherwise it's very, very easy to pick them off one by one by killing them off. obviously the boost only applies when they're on red life only. i think that would really sell the red lives being hunters of the server.
I have noticed so many coincidences throughout the series and these 3 are the most unlikely I found Coincidence 1: 3rd Life: Scar owns a pet (Pizza) that wasn't originally his (Bought from Etho) and died (Shot by an arrow) to the original owner (Etho) Last Life: Scar owns a pet (Yellow Snow) that wasn't originally his (Stolen from Grian) and died (Dropped into lava) to the original owner (Grian) Coincidence 2: 3rd Life: Scar loses a life (Blown up) caused directly by Grian (Creeper been lured) Last Life: Scar loses a life (Stolen by Grian) caused directly by Grian (Died to BDubs) Coincidence 3: 3rd Life: The alliance Grian is part of (Sand Land) sets up tnt traps around the base in the last few episodes (Apocalypse lever) and instead kills one of the allies (Solidarity) Last Life: The alliance Grian is part of (South Lands) sets up tnt traps around the base in the last few episodes (Impulse's, Martyn's, and Mumbo's traps) and instead kills one of the allies (Scar, Grian's ally to the contract)
Absolutely loved last life, it truly was something great to look forward to. From the first AHAAA to the last kill by a Zombie, I was hooked and I watched many people's perspectives and when one died, I went to another one and re-watched episodes from their perspective to catch up. It was absolutely a bl-AHA-st and I sincerely hope for a new season of it, perhaps one with more lives
season three when? because we all want one!!! mix it up again, the first one yal had 3 lives, second one random lives and boogie and gift lives, third one maybe you can craft lives or steal them?
This video series is my favorite youtube series and the most enjoyable thing I've ever watched. Seing the episodes come out each week was a highlight each week. It was amazing seeing a very different side to all of my favorite youtubers. I know it's not quite the same but It would be cool if you had a couple guest stars like other big streamers or like a pro season where each regular last-lifer gets paired with a really good minecraft youtuber. Idk. just know that even if season 3 is built with the exact same ideas, it is because of the people that are in it that each season and episode are unique. What im trying to say is that it doesn't have to been brand new to be presentable. Third life and this season still would have been just as good if they were both in this new version. It's about the people. And Jimmy can't go down like this.

a season three would be so amazing, the dynamics between everybody is so fun to watch and brings so many good bits and great laughs. this series means so much to me i think a s3 but changing up so many rules and more plugins would be amazing.
Seeing them ahaaaing with the spyglasses reminds me so much of the horn bits they're doing now in Double Life 😂
Last life was one very very good experiment. I am in love with how fast people change their characters and fit in the role of boogieman. I saw somewhere an idea to put levels on how hard the game is. Like you start with the easiest and go to hardcore at the end. And tnt can kill player. I really enjoyed every episode of you hermitcraft series and all the last life too. From Ethos pov, it was honestly terrifying watching Joel getting so many kills in the last few episodes. It made much more sense once I saw it was both grian and Joel working together to kill them and Joel just so happened to get the killing blows lol

Last Life is, hands down, one of the things I look forward to the most when it is happening, even more than events like MCC and such. It's always so full of fun and thrills and DRAMA, I can only imagine what would happen to a last life in 1.18 (or 1.19 i suppose), with it also being on hard mode for most of the episodes, lol.
Still crossing my fingers that one day someone will set up base fully in the nether, imagine how cool that would be!!!
Last life was cool, although I feel like the stricter red life rules (no allying between green and red lives) made it so that the moment you turned red you were kicked out of your alliance group, which inevitably lead to a green vs red war rather than a faction vs faction war (like in 3rd life).

Yeah I preferred the old system of red lives but I think the life system and boogie man system was a huge improvement.
I saw an Idea somewhere that suggested that reds could team with yellow, but not green. Green and red would be separate but yellow could ally either, which would give yellow life something special rather than being another green.
Yeah, for season 2 (or would it be 3?) they have to go back to the old rules: alliances are intact, but only red names can kill.
Yeah, but to balance it out they introduced the hability to give a life; so strong teams will be able to survive on green by giving lives to each other if necesary and killing member of other alliances if they got boogieman so if someone goes red it isn't necesary for the team to break that alliance, they can just give a life, also red names are intended to be a threat, for everyone, not a free-pass for your alliance to start acting like red names
This is one of the best things I've watched the past few years. The "ah-ha!" bit made me laugh harder than i've ever laughed. I'd really enjoy to see another series like this sometime soon!!!
what an experience! i really loved last life, and all of the creators involved did a wonderful job, per usual. however, i did miss the loyalty and the importance of alliances. in last life, all alliances were temporary, as they were only valid until you turned red. they held little to no importance in the game itself, since as long as members weren’t red, bickering alliances could not attack each other, and when one person did turn red, they often disregarded their past alliances and/or grudges for the sake of chaos. i miss the crazy, chaotic war between factions that third life beheld all throughout!
I think that's a big reason why I was rooting for Scott and Pearl to win, because there was a strong alliance there with almost full trust, whereas groups such as The Southlands, BEST, and the Fairy Fort alliances kept things from one another and were too big to sustain such alliances based on the number of lives.
@@fnaffoxy1987 The Southlands especially because of the number of hidden betrayals and not so subtle ones, like Jimmy running with a life, Impulse giving a skull to Scott, and Martin secretly being in the shadow alliance. There may be other things I don't know about.

I loved the series. At the start I was just watching Grian and Mumbo’s POV, by the end I was pretty much jumping out of bed on Tuesday mornings excited to see whose videos were already posted, and watching everyone throughout the day. Really hoping there’s another season.

I was watching this and just as grian screamed "no scaaaaaar" i looked up and right in front of me was a big abandoned Factory with three big signs saying "SCAR" on it. The timing was impeccable.

Loved this season. Shame you didnt win, but i also wanted scott/pearl, so it wasnt a total loss for the series. It was quite a different series than season 1, but i think thats a good thing. the boogey rule made things like a game of among us (for better or for worse) but it kept things interesting.
I'd love to see a season three with a few more new people (my hopes are for falsesymmetry, geminitay, cubfan, and maybe a wildcard like petezahhutt)

3rd life and last life, we’re so much fun. You kind of get to see a more chaotic side to people. And that’s what I enjoyed most about these series. Would really like a 3rd season at some point
I loooove the Third Life and Last Life series. They make me laugh so hard every time, and I keep telling my sister all about them. I also love the cast and chaos- Hermitcraft is amazing and inspiring, but it's nice to see some of the hermits take a break and go crazy every once in a while

Honestly this video could have been all episodes after each other and be 5 hours long, this series was gold.
A few ideas for a 3rd season
It would be cool if halway through a session a random server-wide event would start (PermaNight, people get a random potion effect like speed or jump boost, alot of hostile mobs spawning etc.)
Global server advancements that rewards the person who gets the advancement first. This could force risqué behaviour and competitiveness between players/factions.
An additional role like detective who's job could be to kill the boogieman before they are cured to gain a reward but gets punished if they kill an innocent lastlifer.
We *definitely* want another season! Seriously though this was amazing

please please PLEASE do a season 3!! this is the most chaotic series i've ever watched and i always looked forward to tuesdays with dread to see what insane shenanigans yall got up to. it was so entertaining everytime and every episode never fails to deliver such insanity!
if i may suggest though, if you still want to implement the 'red lives must leave their alliances' rule in season 3, then i think red lives should get a higher advantage than green/yellow lives. the main problem i have with that rule (aside from the fact there are no more of the green-red duos iconic of the first season but i'm not too stoked about that) is that the red lives go down very easy, despite them supposed to be the predators of the server. couple that with the fact that most of the server aren't too skilled in pvp, the rule that red lives can attack others unprovoked isn't quite an advantage.
i would suggest that red lives should get a natural and lasting regeneration and strength boost to make them more powerful and stronger, otherwise it's very, very easy to pick them off one by one by killing them off. obviously the boost only applies when they're on red life only. i think that would really sell the red lives being hunters of the server.

Absolutely loved last life, it truly was something great to look forward to. From the first AHAAA to the last kill by a Zombie, I was hooked and I watched many people's perspectives and when one died, I went to another one and re-watched episodes from their perspective to catch up. It was absolutely a bl-AHA-st and I sincerely hope for a new season of it, perhaps one with more lives

This video series is my favorite youtube series and the most enjoyable thing I've ever watched. Seing the episodes come out each week was a highlight each week. It was amazing seeing a very different side to all of my favorite youtubers. I know it's not quite the same but It would be cool if you had a couple guest stars like other big streamers or like a pro season where each regular last-lifer gets paired with a really good minecraft youtuber. Idk. just know that even if season 3 is built with the exact same ideas, it is because of the people that are in it that each season and episode are unique. What im trying to say is that it doesn't have to been brand new to be presentable. Third life and this season still would have been just as good if they were both in this new version. It's about the people. And Jimmy can't go down like this.
