- We got invited to attend SMMT (The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders). It took place at Millbrook Proving ground - a 70km of varied test tracks, including hill routes, high speed areas and challenging off road courses. We got to drive anything we wanted! Naturally we went for the most exciting choices and got to drive something we didn't even know existed... an Electric Bugatti toy car!
We took advantage of the day and tested out the Porsche Taycan, Mini Electric and many others with a little surprise cameo from our beloved former colleague/presenter Jack!

I just love Millbrook, I had a drive of the Mach E there a few weeks ago along with a number of other electric cars.
Spent many happy hours thrashing around Millbrook back in the 90's!

WHAT IS THE SITUATION, IN THE UK, WITH REGARD TO INSURANCE AND TAX FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES???????????????
An electric Motor do's not have RPM ? what is the speed of it mesured by then ?
They instead measure the power and in the unit of watts/kw
Almost no one watched this 😂 but you all missed a good one !
Sorry to be pedantic, but you had to blindfold Eilis to elicit something approaching the same level of excitement she got from driving the Model 3. It’s a bit sad. The Taycan does kick ass though, by the looks of it…and the Bugatti (lovely). Anyway, good show as usual.
