In my text book this question was solved in 2 ways 1st as x^m.y^n form 2nd ly as ax+by and both this gives different p.i so I am confused what to follow

wrong solution we can solve x+y=ax+by form then D=a and D`=b similarly as e^(ax+by) not in x^my^n form
