You can see Kempy get a bit concerned when they pull out another can & then the Jai arrow he was de escalating them being insensitive and so much respect for Kempy calling it then and there instead of laughing with them, respect!
Only issue with teams kicking off after they score is that in the tight games that we all want and like to see, if a team is say trailing by 10 and score with a couple minutes left, they then have to kick off to the leading team in crunch team and lose all momentum towards a late win. Just my 2 cents I am of no fame so take this with a grain of salt
Kempy, do you think sides should utilise the 20/40 rule more often to try help swing momentum. So far no team has started to try this. Just the threat of a failed attempt could get a winger dropping back early next set to give an 11 man front line advantage.
@@BlokeInABar yeah fully agree with that, I was thinking titans game for example, completing sets aren't working, surely gotta try it, risk/reward seems worth it.
Kempy in his bedroom wiggin out after a shoulder construction knowing the place is getting trashed but doesnt dog the boys so lets it go and cops the blame, the slong on this bloke must be even bigger than his beak
Do you think Hooper flagged the whole thing ? Hooper is literally reporting on the disgrace. You’re dribbling about the disgrace being Hooper’s problem ? I don’t get it. Abdo makes a fuck wit dud call to ban the ref’s brother from QLD camp. Hooper breaks the story outing him as a dog because it’s not a conflict of interest. NRL 360 explain how it’s not a conflict of interest but rather how it’s actually work discrimination. Then you blokes briefly and generally agree with rhetoric (the same thing Hooper and NRL 360 are saying) that it’s a dumb call to ban the ref’s brother .... yet you don’t bag the bloke who made that decision Abdo ... and nut all over Hoops for doing his job
😂😂 chill bro its not that serious. We just feel it's a bit of a nothing story. No where in the story does Hooper give his feelings on it. We can only speak about what we read. This specific podcast is just a bit of fun mate not that serious.
@@BlokeInABar I watch every episode. Even when you’re not being serious, what you talk about makes sense and comes from a knowledgeable background. I’m asking about this because it sounded like you completely missed the point of the story and/or had no idea what you were talking about. Just trying to come to an understanding. You’re usually very accountable for your bias, bs and dribble which is great. Can’t really take any understanding from your response but maybe you still haven’t read into the whole story behind it 🔥
@@samdavis456 I don't really need to bro. I've read the article. If there's more to the story then Hoops should have added that in. It's not my job as a reader to go researching everything. Not sure how you can't any understanding? Pretty clear we don't think Sutton's brother being in camp is a conflict of interest. We also don't really think it's worth news. If there's more to the story that makes it news worthy that's on the journalist to inform us. Anyway agree to disagree. Respect your opinion on it. 🙌
It's not just Bernard "wearing a QLD polo" that was the issue, he has a consultancy role with Maroons. It's a legitimate conflict of interest. It's no secret Gerard Sutton is bias towards QLD. At Suncorp it's the worst, his reffing in the decider last year was atrocious. Even Game 1 this year the six again was 9-1 in QLDs favour but this time it wasn't enough to get QLD back into it. If the game was a close one, that bias would have carried QLD to victory. Ex-ref Gavin Badger being part of the Blues camp is irrelevant because he doesn't have a close family member who has sway over the result of the game.
Lol mate having your brother working with the Maroons is not a conflict of interest. Looks like you already think Sutton is biased which is fair enough that's your opinion but your brother working with them is hardly a conflict of interest. Really not that serious.
@@BlokeInABar It may or may not be that serious - depending on the integrity of the Sutton brothers. The Sutton family being QLD supporters is irrelevant, I agree, but Bernard Sutton being part of the QLD Origin coaching staff and his brother being the referee is questionable. Again, it all depends on the integrity of the Sutton brothers, but at the end of the day it would just be easier to appoint someone else to referee Origin games - someone whose brother isn't on the QLD teams payroll.
@@BlokeInABar It's so small that Bernard (when he was Referee's Boss) was the one who originally made his bro Gerard Origin ref in the first place. For people like me who have always thought Gerard has been a poor ref in Origin and easily swayed by the screaming Suncorp crowd, it's not a good look to learn that his brother, (the same one who appointed him as Origin ref) works for the QLD team. It could be completely meaningless, but the potential is there for unfair bias by Gerard, even on an unconscious level. At the end of the day it doesn't bother me that much but the question does need to be asked because there's nothing worse than nepotism and conflicts of interest in politics, business and sport. I don't think you can completely dismiss it as nothing like you guys did. 🤷🏼♂️
