Sometimes I am always confused about using prepositions because it is not easy for me to memorize anything. That's why sometimes I didn't know what preposition I could use in my sentence, especially when I write my letter So I decided to put preposition in whatever I guest, then when my native English speaker friend read about my letter, he said my preposition was correct. And I realized that it was really helpful and effective to be familiarized with what you wanted to learn. I'd advise you, my mate, if you want to learn so much in English, immerse yourself in it. Be always reading English books, English videos, English movies, and English news. Do this as a regular habit now, and you can see how much you improve in English. 😊 Philippines 🇵🇭
It's true ! I'm doing this in English and didn't realise I had improved until I spoke with a native speaker. Now, I'm trying to do it in Spanish (that I learned at school) and in Italian (that I'm still learning, and I feel it is a much faster way to learn than in school). By the way, I'm French

Many thanks teacher for this amazing lesson. I watched it about a year ago, before studying at your academy. I didn't remember my score at that time, but I remember that I couldn't answer correctly. Today, I took the quiz, and I have 10/10 in beginner level, 7/10 in intermediate level, and 8/10 in advanced level ( 1 wrong answer in c1, and 1 in c2). I promise you I will study better.

I agree the guy is charismatic and obviously dedicated to his job, but we are all human and can make mistakes. In this video, for example, he presented the preposition "of" as a mistake after "to raise awareness". However, both "about" and "of" are possible, and, actually, "of" is the more common preposition of the two.

Add to this that some usage is considered correct because it has been used for ages, it is widely used and teachers like things being simple. So, they say: this is the correct preposition, just say "angry WITH somebody". But usage changes and, as a learner you may read or hear "angry at" and feel puzzled. Well, just don't. Besides the correct usage, there are always different ways to say things. Are they wrong? Nothing in the real world is black or white. It depends. In the world of exams and tests though, it's surely better to stick to the "correct" answer. Anyway, thanks for your entertaining and educative videos.
