I thought this was the best book of the last three. So will be interested to possibly see what you think of TTWP, when you've finished the TWOC? Thanks for all the reviews. Hope you don't have Abercrombie burn out. The Devils ain't till May so should be ok by then ha!
I have to admit, as much as I enjoyed this book, I nearly rage quit because Leo is such an idiot. 😂 There are quite a few surprises in book 3- at least I didn't see them coming. Hope you enjoy it. Looking forward to The Devils in May. I've already pre ordered it!
The first trilogy was excellent, loved it. Really enjoyed Best Served Cold & Heroes too. But then came Red Country, which was very disappointing. The sudden industrial revolution that appears out of nowhere and the switch to some new characters put me off of continuing with it further. Funny how the introduction of steam signalled the series running out of just that very thing.
I can't wait for you to finish the next one! 🎉🎉🎉
I remember reading Leo and Jurand’s scene on the canal like a thousand times
