For someone who's played the game early on its fascinating to see still-life characters being animated like tht. Truly amazing~ I hope it'll turn out great. Protagonists voice sound a little too sharp and bubbly compared to the original voiceover in the game, but alright ill take that

I enjoy how it stays true to the game. The cinematography is gorgeous. My only critique is that there is too many things happening at once and it's hard to catch up on what is going on
I agree! If you already know the story from the game, you get what's going on- but at the same time the flow between events in this episode is a bit messy, so I did feel dissatisfied at a few points ;-; The cinematography really is lovely though! I'm looking forward to the future episodes

Dont read on if you dont want spoilers------- So many people who have never played the game keep trying to guess who "she ends up with" in the comments and forums XD and I'm just like... Oh ya'll in for a wild ride full of tears and pain... and yet you're still gonna love them all. No anime has made me ball my eyes out the way this game did... and I've never liked anime characters as much as the characters in the game... I wonder if it will be as full of heart ache. I kind of hope it is XD I like how MC is a little bit more assertive though
Zen's first appearance has the biggest impact.. it's a pity they couldn't bring out Lucien's seductive character. When he said the last line to the heroine in the original, he was whispering right next to her ear standing awfully close to her😂

Btw game to anime is no different than 6 - 1,000+ page books to 3-4 movies. They did a great job! And made it easy for those who haven't played the game to enjoy, which is better for us!
Somehow, I don't feel satisfied with the scenes. Why? The MC should not have seen the a clear image of Victor the kid. It was what kept the suspense especially at the ending of the otome season. Kiro... was NOT a flirt (He was a smiley sunshine person not a smiley winky person) on first few encounter. Lucien was the flirty one on first impression. I feel like their personality switched? Production is good though. Omg. The otome game is raising the bar high for expectation. Edit: *SPOILER INSIDE* (just taking safety precaution from *unwanted shocks* and *heart wretching regrets* )
I agree with you, that ruined a bit of it for me. They might have bigger plans and I wonder if they show some of the dates that gave new info about the character; like Victor's mom dead and Lucien hiring people to spy on the MC and Kiro. So many questions!!

Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura, Fushigi Yuugi, Fruits Basket, Weiss Kreuz, etc. Sub is way better in my opinion, only because dubs back then were atrocious and lacked any nuance, but I think the English voices for Mr Love are surprisingly good ✨✨✨ However, Japanese voice acting is generally more advanced and supremely on point.

Otome game anime are always drawn out well, the style and even the background art are great, the only problem is sometimes the plot. They make the non players confuse and I've seen tons like the MCs are hotties, well its a visual anime aimed towards ladies like me, however I have to drop some. @@annapratt9512 hahaha for sure :). I used to be a major 90s, early 2000s Anime fangirl, it was my entire youth. Sailor Moon, Cardcaptor Sakura, Fushigi Yuugi, Fruits Basket, Weiss Kreuz, etc. Sub is way better in my opinion, only because dubs back then were atrocious and lacked any nuance, but I think the English voices for Mr Love are surprisingly good ✨✨✨ However, Japanese voice acting is generally more advanced and supremely on point.

Otome game anime are always drawn out well, the style and even the background art are great, the only problem is sometimes the plot. They make the non players confuse and I've seen tons like the MCs are hotties, well its a visual anime aimed towards ladies like me, however I have to drop some. But Im watching this one again, lets see I can finish it this time lol.
