Making A Vtuber Because I'm Unemployed

I'm jobless so I made a VTuber.
I wanted to try something new :) Let me know if you enjoyed, I'd love to make more videos like this! But I'm not sure if I'll do anything as big as a VTuber model again just yet. Sorry about some of the audio glitches but I re recorded so many times and couldn't figure out how to get rid of them!

Thanks so much! It’s definitely a daunting task. I found out that a lot of artists that take commissions will only draw models, and others will only rig, just because of how time consuming each of them are. But I found all of it really enjoyable :)

Speaking as a live2d enthusiast, this is one of the best rigged non-anime live 2d models I've ever seen! Because the program is optimized for anime character designs, I've seen a lot of cartoony designs with rigging that makes them look borderline uncanny, but I think you've managed to dodge that almost entirely thanks in part to your thin lineart! The head movements in particular are some of the best I've seen, the way the head moves feels smooth and natural, and the mouth movement, which for me is where a lot of models start to look off, is just so pleasing to look at. Cutting up the model is something that a lot of artists will claim is the hardest part, so it's completely understandable that you struggled with it a bit. Still, I think if I saw this model in the wild, I wouldn't catch on that it was your (kind of) first time rigging. I think you could 100% score a side gig rigging cartoony vtuber models, if you ever felt the urge. Well done!

Thanks a lot! I actually tend towards thicker lineart but I wanted to go thin for Evi after being inspired by a lot of anime style vtubers :) Credit for the mouth movements mostly go to chupuko's mouth chart, I found it super helpful!
