That body goes on a radio shack RC I bought a nice one off of eBay but the tires had flat spots and the electronics were shot I paid too much for it so I sent it back and I saw this junky one on eBay It has plastic tires I only wanted it for the body I will get it running though lol I used to take my mad van to the local hobby shop and the way it would fly through the air over the big jump was absolutely amazing they have since gotten rid of the track It makes me sad. It's pretty fast for being brushed
Came to you from AddamsPlayground. I came back to the hobby a couple of years ago after being away from it since the late 80s (I have gotten a little carried away since). I got the same chassis, but with the Midnight Pumpkin body. It is a blast to drive.
@@nomusicrc As I said, I saw you on AddamsPlayground, one of my favorite RC channels. I built my first car way back in 1980 when the Rough Rider first came out, I got one or two others after that, but I was in the Navy at the time and moving them around became a problem. After I got out I didn’t have the time or money for it. I now have plenty of time, but not much money, so I get what I can. I love building Tamiya kits and I have three Traxxas and two Arrma vehicles. Due to some health issues, I don’t get out to run them as much as I like. That is why I like watching videos like yours.
@@nomusicrc Well, for Traxxas, I have a TRX4 (Land Rover), a 4x4 Slash and a 4x2 Slash. For Aarma I have a 4x4 Senton and a Vendetta. All have been modified more or less. I have to repair the Senton (rear shocks) and the 4x4 Slash (not sure yet, gearing problem of some sort, I have to open it up).
G’day mate, the part number is 50520 C. V. A. Short Shock Unit Set II. There are also other cheaper products on the market which work just as well. Glad to help mate, love to see the final product.
Yo got an older kit, it came with the TBLE ESC in it. The honestly make it a lot easier in some kits as the HW1060 ones can be a pain with the short switch that does not screw into the normal switch location on the kits! I am glad you got this and sorry it took me a month to see the video!
@@AddamsPlayground It's okay at least you watched the video Did you watch any more of my videos My local hobby shop had two of these in stock and I took the one that was not the 1060 because I wanted to see what that entailed
@@AddamsPlayground do not double stack is my favorite they're not all RC related Did you notice that I put your channel name in the title of the video
G’day mate, make sure you buy ball bearings, those bushings are terrible! I’ve got tree kits, Lunchbox, Midnight Pumpkin and the Pajero, love them. 🤓 🇦🇺
@@ericchristopher9037 that was the first thing I did before I put it together and then somebody gave me a tamiya falcon for free. I took it apart and put bearings in it. They were supposed to go into the lunch box. The falcon works great now and so does the lunch box. What brought you to my channel?
Love a lunchie.. side note I need that sand river/kumamon body on your bench 😁 also mad van’s are awesome

Nice unboxing, I have 3 CW01s, you really need oil filled shocks, it’s a must for a good run and you will have a great time running this beast! 🤓🇦🇺

As I said, your video was great, just show us your shocks upgrade. You will be amazed at how much better your CW01 runs and performs.
