A modernized DeLisle-style integrally suppressed bolt action in .300 or 8.6 Blackout should be their next revival project. I doubt they will, but it’d be cool.
Just noticed Ian's indoor wardrobe at shot show so far has been: zip-up turtle neck with a 3 piece suit without the jacket, full 3 piece suit with bow tie, and full 3 piece without tie; all different suits too, I think. Keeping it sharp lol. My man's better be running a shoulder holster ccw too
@@ProeliatorDeus shot show is held in the Venetian expo center not the convention center and while i believe its against their policy i dont think its illegal to carry
FYI Hush puppy project has been making these for awhile now. Can send your slide to them to modify. They also sell a similar can. Only thing that seems different is B&T offers the acro.
It's 2024. Musk releases a rap about Harambe, Trump is selling gaudy shoes and Bibles, people still think there are secret invisible microchips in vaccines, and people who believe that the Earth is flat are growing in number constantly. Nothing will ever be normal again.
“No noise out of the action” there’s the formula. Watching quite a few gun tubers lately & the cycling of the gun is always way louder than the suppressed muzzle.
I knew Ian's brain probably has many, many folds... Filled with more information than many of us could ever fathom. I just never thought it would manifest itself in this fashion...
Be interesting so see how quiet that suppressor is. From what I remember suppressors with wipes are very quiet but get progressively louder with the more rounds you shoot.
So whenever your wipes wear out, you have to send the can back to the manufacturer to replace them, since it's illegal to replace any part of a suppressor yourself. EDIT: Apparently I was wrong, you can make your own wipes or order them and have them shipped to an FFL. This is according to the ATF, however, so that may change at any moment if they or the President decide it should.
God that's awesome. I'd love to have my beretta 92 converted into a hush puppy, but that costs twice the amount of a 92. Plus the suppressor and stamp, ugh why
Old video I know, but I feel like this is one of those things that should be better if it's being officially manufactured. A basic slide lock is ancient. They ought to be making some kind of system that you can rack the slide manually without having to go through the extra step of disengaging the lock.
How does a modern wipe based silencer work in the age of stamps. Can you refill the thing with new wipes? Do you need to buy a new silencer after its toast?
Close, just needs the slide lock to only lock from shooting, not from manual cycling, so you don't have to disengage, to cycle...ideal an option to stay going into locked mode and coming out of locked mode the first time cycled for semi followups...
@@delmuswu-tangbroadnax9056 well yeah, but it's another NFA item you have to worry about. If it were sold without the can, you could just buy it normally, and put on whatever can you already have.
Slide locks that turn semi-automatic pistols into awkward, slow-firing manually operated pistols are a crude kludge when there are superior manually cycled pistols from the 19th century. An 1896 Bittner is a far superior design as a manually-cycled suppressor host to the latest and greatest from B&T. I have been very disappointed in lack of development of integral sound suppression technology. The VP9 disappointed me: a bolt-action pistol requiring two hands to cycle, more awkward to cycle than even a lever-action Volcanic pistol from the 1850s! I will continue to call for the ring-trigger or perhaps other rapid one-handed actions to be utilized when new manually-cycled handguns are introduced. There's no reason these dedicated suppressor hosts have to be so slow-firing and awkward to cycle. And I know all this mostly because I watch Forgotten Weapons. Thank you for the channel and for the well-informed SHOT Show coverage.
This is why I love B&T. They have a knack for resurrecting post ww2 era guns and gadgets for no other purpose other than to be cool

@@Enraged-Gecko we kind of have things that already fill that niche. The fix/mini fix or b&t SPR300
Similar to what I want to do
The original Hush Puppy was Cold War weapon
They also imported the FEG Dragonov!

You can't carry concealed at the Las Vegas Convention Center. It's government property, it's illegal even with a CCW.
@@ProeliatorDeus shot show is held in the Venetian expo center not the convention center and while i believe its against their policy i dont think its illegal to carry
Ian walks around with a weapon out all over there probably. It's more weird to see him not handling a gun.
@@ProeliatorDeusthought crossed my mind afterwards. Can still have a empty holster (I'd think) lol
Ian has so much knowledge on obscure firearms that we can now actually see his head growing with each new video
GIANT HEAD
Has to be huge to fit all that information
That is one heck of a video angle 😂
B&T keeps innovating and giving the public useful stuff. Nothing revolutionary but a slide lock is pretty useful for maximum quiet.

Can’t wait to order one tomorrow and get it in another few decades from now.
Except you can’t actually use the sights or the acro because it’s too low…

Why does Ian look like he's got to complete missions for his majesty at 9 and shoot an airheads commercial at 10
The camera angle reminds me of dk mode on 007 goldeneye
B&T has to be one of my favorite companies hands down
Big brain energy here. I love it😅
This video's aspect ratio is oompa loompa
B&T has some brilliant minds

That's a sick little piece.... I really like it.
Kinda crazy they can commercially produce a pistol designed for stealthy murder...I mean stealthy self defense lol
God b&t is such a cool brand, i love everything they dabble in, so proud to own a apc308
Looks like the cameraman accidentally enabled the big head cheat code
Reminds me of the assassins G26 setup on the boat in “The Net” with Sandra Bullock.

Super cool for CEO assination
The Super Sneaky Switch ! I like it .

Wait, so I can effectively cycle it manually like solid snake did with his tranquilizer-Beretta? Plus switch flick I guess...
I would love to see a video of this once it’s out. And how it might compare to that company that converted an M&P to a hush puppy
The CEO remover special.
Looks like the lower co-witness of the sights is kinda pointless. Are the irons visible over the can?

Having N64 007 Goldeneye flashbacks! lol
Surely you would want this in .45 for increased subsonic performance???
That's cool, but I'm curious about their strikerfired pistol that was announced a couple years ago
Lmfao at the aspect eario making ian look like a dwarf
Ah! The suppressors from John Wick! Nice
Why go through all the trouble of co-witnessing the irons through the Acro when the suppressor obscures the sight picture anyways?
A gun built for no practical use at all lol but can still get excited about it! 😂

The slide lock isn't necessary. My G19 won't cycle subs with my YHM r9.
