I had this cd as a kid. I lived in the country and spent a lot of time at my grandma's house. I would often go out in the backyard with a cd player and sing my heart out to this CD. She often had to come outside and tell me to pipe down because I was singing so loud. I recently watched a few episode of the old show and looked this CD up again. She passed earlier this year and now I can not stop crying while I listen to this CD.
I had the CD as well, my grandparents lived in the country and whenever I'd come over and take a bath in their big bathtub I'd listen to this and sing. Both of them have since passed so it's difficult for me to listen to this.
Don't take the Girl by Tim McGraw was my favorite song I always made mom sing to me when I was a kid I now can't listen to without crying it was hard a year after mom passed 3 years this oct I listened to the song and couldn't even finish it 😭
I always felt so bad for Sailor Jupiter, she's always crushing on these older guys who, inevitably, are already in a relationship. I legit cried for her in this episode.
The way all of these songs are embedded in me! I'm in my 30's now and they still give me the same feeling as they did when I was a kid. This, Power Of Love, Carry On and My Only Love are powerful and beautiful.
It's my favorite kind of love song. It could be romantic, and probably was intended as such (esp. since Makoto is a bit of a serial romantic lol), but it could really be any kind of love. Rainy Day Man could be a super close friend, a family member, a beloved pet, a childhood toy... all valid. I think that's why of the DiC dub's character songs, this one stuck with me the most.
The only place I was able to get this CD was through a Mom and Pops Store called Cheapo-Discs. The whole reason was that I enjoyed all their songs from their Abridged Episodes-1-151. And DiC did create a wonderful world by adding this gem.
Well- it's time to watch this series all over again. I used to be in such a rush to grow up when this show was on TV, thinking I'll never actually grow up- and here I am wishing I can re-live these days. Never realized how truly great the mid to late 90's really were, even though I was so young.
Bloom: Being stuck on a rainy day stinks. Stella: Yeah! Flora: We have nothing to do outside. Musa: Except for cleaning up the dorm. Tecna: And putting everything away. Aisha: I know that.
Well all of this was done during the early 90s so there was still a lot of that 80s influence - so that’s what makes the songs so iconic and awesome because even with the fact that sometimes 80s music could be kind of cheesy, there was plenty of it that was just amazing and it helped define that decade. 🎉🎉🎉

Could any of you make a video with this song about Donald Duck and his girlfriend Daisy? I know there's some people who are not fans of Donald nor Daisy but I think it would be cute!

This will forever remind me of Sailor Jupiter. Susan Roman thank you for giving her a dub voice in the beginning.
Yes when shes standing with that boy in the rain... Ive been looking for this song forever sailor Jupiter was my favorite...
I'm with you. This song epitomises Lita for me. And she was always my favourite
Susan's a voice acting legend, not to mention the only one who stuck to her role all the way to the end of SuperS. That's true dedication.
Don’t forget Katie Griffin who played Mars she missed the last 10 episodes of season 2 but apart from that she was in the rest of the seasons.
@@Flegan777 Ron Rubin and Jill Frappier were never recast as Artemis and Luna either

This song always reminds me of Jupiter's love for unavailable men. So true
Either that or they dumped her for stupid reasons.
The way all of these songs are embedded in me! I'm in my 30's now and they still give me the same feeling as they did when I was a kid. This, Power Of Love, Carry On and My Only Love are powerful and beautiful.
Yay! It’s not just me. I get butterflies in my stomach
It almost makes you appreciate life in a different type of way!
Every time it rains, this song always comes to mind. And the way this music flows is immaculate!
Song randomly popped in my head today, la nostalgia
RIP OG Sailor Jupiter: Emi Shinohara 😢💔
What happened to her??
@@GlorianaGloria She died of an unspecified illness.
Dang this brings me straight back to like 1996
Feeling a lot of solidarity with everyone who also found themselves looking for this song. Hope we all get cheered up ❤
Oh man I still have this CD somewhere!! I wish these songs were on spotify tho 😭

I watched this in the 1995
Whenever someone mentions the song It’s Raining Men this song always comes to mind.
That doesn't make any sense
Here I am in tears again.
Well talk about memories watching the the Americanized cartoon as a kid...
Powerful song, this one means a lot to me. Sailor Jupiter forever!
This song also appears in Friend Zone: The Musical
Man I used to sing my heart out to this at 6 yr old
Bloom: Being stuck on a rainy day stinks.
Stella: Yeah!

But that's so boring 😂

i still think about this song from the 1990s.
R.i.p emi shinohara
This is a great song
I always find myself dancing like Michael Jackson to this song!

💯 nice 💤
EPIC!!!
the way this song is embedded in my very dna
Did Lita's friend ever got a gf or married? He vanished after the first seaon
Thank you for the post 🎉
This sounds like Evanescence’s early work! (Maybe a lot more softer, but still similar)
Very eighties vibe.

this is basically an evanescence song
Evanescence?!?!? Those aren't even real humans, so their "Sound" *CAN'T* be "Music!"
