I remember bumping into her stream way back when seeing her being Gold. Sometime later, she's Immortal. Impressive is an understatement.
its not impressive at all. Playing valorant is her FULL TIME JOB, sometimes putting in 12 hour streams. over the course of 3 years. How is this impressive? she is playing more than 99% of the playerbase.

I think you can't compare that? I think he had the skill prior to when he started valorant, it's just that the game was newly released and he haven't fully transfer he's previously owned skill to this new game or he wasn't too serious about this game when it released. You can see that he got from Silver to Immortal in 3 Acts, which I think is getting more accustomed to the game, rather than improving
I think the reason why Kyedae improves is because she plays with a purpose.
Her main goal is to hit a high rank to be able to play with TenZ....
I think most of us are just lost and are playing valorant for no reason or just to kill time.
All props to kyedae but the main reason is probably because she plays a lot, its inevitable, you play more you will get better.

Lots of people improved. I was Iron 1 now Immo 3. But for big names, Kyedae is crazy. She's actually so good. Was on the enemy team against her and prod, what a while game.
exactly my thoughts when i first played iplaced bronze 1 but i hit radiant last year but its still impressive considering all she went through

Most valorant players at high elo prob started in silver-plat and played all that time and learned about the mechanics just to reach radiant, meanwhile kyedae has one of the best coachs a good setup and plays it for a living. The average player has put a lot more work than kyedae in grinding the game.

brutha, literally anyone with Object Permanence will hit immortal 3 after playing the game for 3 years 9 hours a day. I was Bronze 2 when i first started and hit Imm3 after a year. I would say Zekken is the most improved player since he hit rank 1 and placed silver 1 when the game came out.

Saying most improved player of all time is one problem I have with this video, many people have improved similarly to Kyedae, she is one of the few who have fame to do it, yes she has improved, does she have significantly better resources than others, like getting paid to stream the game, and having Tenz to coach you. Yes. Has she had her own struggles. Yes. Have others had their own struggles. Yes. It is substantially easier to improve at a game when you know that any step of improving, like VOD reviewing, you’ll get paid for as people are watching you. Not to take away from her improvement as that improvement was still done by her and it is a large amount. But coming from someone with similar if not better improvement whilst not playing 8 hours a day and streaming, I just think it is a bit far to say that she is the most improved player of all time. What I’m trying to say is that the video feels too biased rather than looking at it objectively and actually reviewing the improvement.

Yeah she has an upper hand by having a valo player whose good asf and coaching her for free. Not to say that valo coaches are inaccessible or hard to find, but most charge which can be a barrier for most people

I started in iron 3 spent all summer learning mechanics lineups etc I have 40 hours in aimlabs and a lot in the range, I've got over 1000 hour played and Im still diamond 1. So I dont want to imagine the grind of a player like me that is in inmortal or radiant. I dont think kyedae is a player that can be called the most improved.
i am just use 60 hz moniter +60 ping and my 1st rank bronze 2 and now i am immortal 2 xD
its making me mad how everyone js claims tyson boosted her... js bc shes a woman n dating tyson ppl make assumptions n spread FALSE rumors. After all. WHEN could she get boosted?? She streams all the time n never on these streams play WITH tyson. Never. So i do not understand what makes them believe shes boosted. Js looking at her clips n good plays on stream is enough proof shes actually goated at the game. Haters be really wild today.

I don't care what people say about her skills; one thing is certain - she's overrated! All this attention she's getting is because of TENZ! She's got a big ego, but she hides it when she's on livestream or in public. She acts all confident and sassy in front of her fans, but if you look at how she really behaves outside that fan zone, you'll see a different story. Honestly, there are other female pro players and content creators in Valorant who are way better than her. 📍
The only reason she's in the spotlight is because she's dating TENZ. Being his girlfriend has opened doors for her, giving her clout and opportunities she wouldn't have as a solo content creator. Now, TENZ, he might have a rude or egoistic side, but he's still humble and down-to-earth with everyone. Kyedae, on the other hand, seems to be the one calling the shots and acting like his boss, even trying to be his mom, if you can believe it! 💡
I'm telling you, the moment Kyedae stops riding on TENZ's clout, she's out. Trust me on that one!✨

Nope my sister is. I showed her valorant when it came out of beta. She started off at iron 1 and over the course of over 3 years she has now hit ascendent. (She is only 15)
i guarantee there was some 8 year old iron that made it to immortal 3 or radiant in a year

Kyedae is good at the game. A few streamers I watch (not naming who) play valorant only everyday and they have not improved much. One guy I watch used to be Ascendent 2 but now is Diamond 1 despite playing basically every day, 8 hours. Kyedae is definitely one of the most (or THE MOST) improved val player

kydaes improement is so cool, i started out in iron and hit ascendant as she was on her climb. i had to stop playing so i never reached immo :C but we had very similar climbing up till then, id always check her vids to see how she was getting on lol. I wanted her to hit immo and she has now :D I didnt know till this vid

I love kyedae but I think it would be a surprise for her TO NOT be this good. She plays valorant as a job for multiple hours a day. For before yeah but there is his new french youtuber named Fugu who started playing valorant and 4 months laters was immortal. He was a pro player on Apex before but he's now a valorant player.
I remember in episode 1 act 2 I started playing valorant and I was the same rank as kyedae, silver.
I'm still silver but I barely play the game
well.. i kinda expected this. one time early on tenz and kyedae did a reaction time test and kyedae got higher than tenz, and tenz said she could get immortal early on in her career. so its not unexpected.
i started val a little over 2 months ago, and placed iron 3 during my first comp matches.
i learned a lot by queuing unrated with my higher level friends and just getting absolutely destroyed. i'm not a good player by any means, but i've begun to consistently place 1st or 2nd on the scoreboard no matter what role i choose. working on just crosshair placement itself has been an absolute MASS improvement. i'm also a laptop gamer with some pretty garb internet, so im overall proud of being able to keep up.

i dont think there can be a solidified "most improved" on the game but there is levels to it and she easily is at the top of every level of improvement like a lot of others that dont post (some do) and they arem't reconized as the "most improved oat" im not hating any kind of way but its unfair for everyone else who also improved from low low ranks to immo/radiant

Knew a guy who bought a pc in May of 2022 and had never played on a computer let a lone a shooter before. He went on to hit Immortal by early 2023 without the help of coaching or boosting in all honesty it amazed me. You're never able to really pinpoint who the most improved players are because it all depends on their background. Imo someone hitting Radiant with no prior shooter experience is more a feat than someone who has years of experience. Not saying Kyedae had those years of experience but I'm just polishing on my point of dependency on past experiences.

Just to add on, I'm sure there are plenty of streamers or just regular players that play VALORANT for a comparable amount of time to Kyedae, who haven't seen NEARLY as much success as she has. She puts in the work, plays like she means it, and stays consistent. Her hard work shows.
I think maybe for big name players she is. Overall absolutely not. I started at iron 1, bottom fragging, and losing every game. That was in 2020. When I stopped playing, so around the end of 2022, I had hit immortal. I made it there only being able to play on weekends for maybe 6 hours a day max. The only time I ever thought about coming back was when Deadlock released, but she sucks. I've tried playing a few times since, and I am absolute horse meat at the game now. I wasn't the best before qutting, but I had more improvement than she did. I know a lot of my friends did better than me, and I've met other people who have as well.

The math you did is actually not as accurate but will even more prove yor point. since you wont get a lot of rr on new acc if it comes to your peak, even if you hit 30 bombs all day long. since the new mmr system. so i guess you can count with like 18rr per game and not 22,5 especially in high ranks
