As someone who is playing it now for 3+ hours in gamepass version, I am happy to share that you can craft items while those items are inside your storages as long as they are around 5 small plots away. Additionally you can "create mission" to track the needed ingredients when building or crafting.
@annieshavingthoughtsagain Not sure with Steam version, but when building crating machines, it does say in the middle just below the icons how many storages will be connected to it. It will also show it top right of the crafting menu.
The demo showed me a lot of these issues, from decorative stuff to money and missions. I feel like it hits its limits fast in its current state. I will wait for a later build or 1.0 to purchase, which i feel sad to do because it shows such great promise.
Thank you for this! Even though it's first-person, it looks slow enough not to get motion sickness, and the fixed elements (mech cabin etc) probably help with that, too. I'm interested, but I'll wait for the full release I think ^^
Another great review!! Thanks! Seems like a super fun and unique game!! I might just wait for the full release, so more is added to the game and changed, but I definetly want to give it a try! That sucks you got stuck!
this game isn't for me and that's okay, i'm happy for those that do enjoy it, but i'll still watch content creators play it here and there, gotta support my fav streamers x
I LOVE this game on GamePass. It's just so lovely/relaxing, the most low-stress game I've played in awhile. I don't even mind if the content is a bit sparse at first -- I'm sure the devs will deliver on some awesome updates, as this looks like a game with a lot of thought, love, and care put into it! Also, a big shout-out to the devs making the mech icon/map markers like that yellow color as well as the arrows to find all the mech tools at the beginning of the game. I'm partially blind and, especially at night, those bright indicators are a HUGE help! This is one of those few games where it's just as pleasant to play at night as it is during the day! It would be nice to have map markers, like he said, as I've already lost where I laid down my first blueprint, but oh well! They're off to a great start!
The no crafting from storage kills it for me. I don't have the patience to deal with that sort of thing anymore. This is the main reason I stopped playing Sunhaven.
Someone said in a comment you could but it has to be within 5 squares from your crafting stations. I guess my chests were too far. But I can't confirm now since my game is stuck.
Looks fun! I enjoy science fiction so much more than fantasy, so I love seeing another cozy farming sim that’s science fiction rather than fantasy. Also, I’m really glad to see it’s on Xbox Game Pass. Nearly every farming sim seems to go to PC. Which is unfortunate since I only use Mac. But, I do have an Xbox! I know Coral Island went to Xbox as well. Hopefully more do!
i'm curious, is this game played in first person only or can you switch it? it looks really interesting but unfortunately i get motion sickness from fps games and can not play them
I laugh every time I hear you say "PIP-3R" 🐦🐦🐦 Thank you so much for the review! I've been waiting for this game since the demo came out! Also, I wonder if another player would be able to open that door in the ruins..
A very interesting game on paper, but the overbearing country vibes aren't for me. I do like the concepts and wish it had more depth, but this is definitely a 'wait for post early access' kind of title IMO.

That's good to know. I hope there is something in game that explains that to new players.

Regarding @10:30 Coal is found in hidden cave systems that you explore outside of your mech!
Thanks, it's good to hear your more unbiased opinion, I'll wait since it is on gamepass anyway and I have a backlog

@@JoshGamingGarden Well, that's good to know. Maybe I will check it out after it gets a few updates.
Yes, you can easily set your storage boxes in a way for them to be used automatically.
seems interesting!

You can play in third person mode as well.
@@moochu2 thank you!
I may pick it up later, but probably not till the full release 😅
We need enemies though. Maybe something like minecraft where you can turn them off or on. A whole mech suit with no combat just seems off to me idk
Agree!

You got further than I did. I played a few hours on game pass decided to pass.
