I love these tutorials for their creativity but also because Deb is so direct and charismatic in her way of communicating. She doesn't even bother to cut or hide a mistake or anything that's not going as planed. That is not a waste of time, that's being genuine ...

Oh Deb, I can always count on you to show me a new process that I can't wait to try! You are simply amazing. My method of dealing with nasty people is the delete button. Works every time 🤣. I love your tutorials, your humor, and your lovely voice. And I think the rest of us who watch do too. I also love that you tell us about these trolls. It tells me you are as human as the rest of us. Please never change. We got your back 🥰🥰🥰

People that are spiteful and that leave nasty comments are miserable inside and out. They probably do this to a lot of other youtubers as well. My name for them is TROLLS and they need to be shit canned. Yup it's an actual term lol. Your tutorials are amazing and they are very very explanatory and they are also free!!! This is your channel and you don't have to have people like that here. Please don't stop doing your tutorials because I would be sad😕

I also love that you don't chop up your videos. They flow just like we're sitting together working on our fun little projects. Excited to try this technique next! Wondering though, does one eventually develop sanding callouses?? My thumb only just healed from my last sanding endeavor. Thanks again Deb! ~ Pam

They're absolutely gorgeous, love them. Very clever technique so thank you for sharing. One talented lady. Those trolls get their jollies off by being negative and nasty. They must be very angry, miserable, jealous, people! Ignoring them certainly is the best then they get no "house room" or recognition. Thank you again Deb, awesome tutorial. ❤

'Silk Sheets'? huh? ... oh you clever, clever Deb!! It took me a minute to figure out 'silk sheets' as in silk *bed* sheets rumpled on the bed! I love it! Very effective and looks like silk sheets! Your techniques doesn't any more complicated than some other techniques in polymer clay so... there ya go!
Tutorials are time-consuming - filming, editing, etc - but well worth seeing an artist's thought process and *how* they approach a technique. Thank you for sharing!

You're my absolute favourite and I'm not just saying that. I'm new to polymer and resin and your videos are a gift. @@clayboutique Thank you for replying. I have elements of CFS with the fibromyalgia, drives me crazy, it's life changing. I try and keep my spirits up and your channel has genuinely helped. It's such a relief to find something I can do, my memory is so shameful but at least I can pause and rewind and jot things down. I made a confetti pendant from your tutorial and I adore it. I'm so impressed. I admit I was impatient for the ink to dry but found it had spread and mixed really well when baked. I bet I couldn't recreate that if I tried 🤣. Hi Deb, these are truly amazing - I've never seen this method done before. Thanks so much for showing us. You're a brilliant artist. Please ignore the nasty trolls, they are mean and pure evil. I've noticed a lot of this recently. I watch junk journal tutorials too, and painting techniques too, and have heard a few tutors saying they've had vile messages left on here. I wonder if it's the same troll? I've said it before, but they really are jealous. They do it to get a rise out of people because they're nasty. You're absolutely amazing girl, and I love all your work. Don't allow these people to upset you. Take care, xx

I’ve never understood someone bashing a TH-camr. If you don’t like their channel, simply don’t watch it. You can also push the thumbs down button if you feel so strongly. But we all need to appreciate everyone on here for trying. For giving of their time trying to impart some wisdom. You know there are times when I fast forward through the video to just watch the content. That way I’m not sitting and waiting for the finale but still getting the wisdom. I watch a lot of TH-cam. Lol Keep your chin up Deb. We who watch and love you are all that counts in the long run. DO NOT let them suck your happiness! 👍 Thanks for this video. I’m def going to be trying. 🤟🏼🤍

Beautiful! I hope your vacation was absolutely fabulous. And I wish you great success on your upcoming event.
Don't let the haters get to you. Some people actually think misery loves company and spend their day trying to make everyone as miserable as they are. I comment frequently and actually have a few haters that literally follow me to dump their hate. Some I report, some I ignore and some I let know I am grateful that I don't live in their mind. Occasionally I come across one I can reason with and they apologize and change their tone. My favorite come back to those who attack on a personal level is:
Ad hominem attacks, attacking a person's character instead their argument, putting personal issues above other matters, displays lack of intellect on the issue and in general.
Feel free to use or alter it as you see fit
    It works like a charm.
We are blessed to have you share your talent with us. Thank you for that. And know if ever I see a nasty comment on your videos I will comment to them on their uncalled for crapola. 💜🤗

    • @clayboutique
      @clayboutique  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you ❤️
What I tend to do is pin their comment to the top so everyone can see it. They usually get feedback from others. They either delete the comment, themselves, or if they’re brazen, I end up deleting it after a suitable time has passed 🤣🤣

These are beautiful! I got so excited and decided to try, but heads up it looks like you need an especially thick resin for this to work. I used my usual resin and the Plastic wrap just squished it down and off the sides, even after trying to thicken it with loads of mica powder, and I wasn’t able to achieve any ripples that held their form. I’m gonna have to get the thick stuff, because I will stop at nothing to try to make this gorgeousness happen!

No, the resin I use is not especially thick. It does squish to the sides, and it does hold its shape once you cure it under the lamp. Not sure which resin you’re using, but the one I use is listed in my Amazon storefront. Link in the description.

Were you leaving the plastic wrap on while you cured it?

I’m going to try the one you use. I was never even able to achieve enough thickness with my resin to make decent ripples of any depth under the plastic wrap, so the curing was moot. You make it look so easy, lol!

Found the problem. The resin I was using (first ever I’ve used) was abnormally thin, I think. Got some new resin and it was much thicker. Gonna try again!

I love this technique! I’m going to try it. Love all the pieces including the gold one that you didn’t care for as much. Not a fan on sanding , can you use a dremel to sand it down? I don’t always comment or say it but I do appreciate you very much for sharing your talent!

You can use a dremel. You don’t have to sand by hand, that’s just how I do it.
      Thank you 🤍

Idiots that feel they need to put you down, taking their time to say something nasty are narcissist. They Always think they are right and have a need to let you know how they feel, makes them feel high and mighty. Watch Dr Carter’s TH-cam channel. The rest of us love you and learn so much!

Narcissist is one word for them 😁
I can think of another word that starts with ‘b’ and rhymes with ‘witch.’ Oh, look…another suitable word 🤣

Mean spiteful people are sorry, sad and sick minded. They put others down to elevate their ego yet they cannot do half of what we crafters do…. If they were truly devoted crafters they would show love and empathy for fellow crafters and appreciation for creative minds 💕💕💕💕💕
