Agree, they’re asking for logical explanations and “secrets” on how to let go of lust. Seeking God is the only way but telling that to Luke warm Christian’s or non believers will have them falling short every time.

The more I listen to these conversations the more I understand that one of our biggest problems is, we're trying to use culture's standards to get Kingdom results ...
It's a wake up call for me.

@JoyceBabatunde such deep truth in what your statement. You cannot use culture standards to get Kingdom results, you must choose. I also have discovered when people are always stating they are offended, that is a time to do a self evaluation, because truth hit you in some form or fashion rather you want to admit it or not.

RYAN-Let me make it more plain for you: Lukewarm is when you wake up and CHOOSE sin daily..or weekly. It’s not making a mistake. Lukewarm is when you have the intent to sin and you know you’re going to do it regardless. It’s not a “human mistake”. We all fall from time to time; that is not lukewarm. God bless you.

Ryan that 'offense' was conviction. As you mature spiritually you will realize...oh yea I really was lukewarm because NOW I couldn't see living my life any other way. You learn to live by Spiritual laws and precepts, not by what you 'feel' is right as a Christian. You're on your way because you're gaining Godly wisdom.

As someone who enjoyed the world. Loved the safe and unsafe sin. When I decided to be "on fire" for God. I made a decision to not be lukewarm. I feel like before I took my religion serious I was living lukewarm. Loving God and the world at the same time. Now, I can't be offended or feel judged off of what others say because I'm not living for them or for me at this moment. I'm literally here to serve God. Be the example. Do we fall short. Yes! But personally, me falling short was when I was trying to be single in familiar surroundings. Now, I'm single and open to finding out what and who I am in new environments.

As a woman watching my first episode of this show because Pastor Flowers was a guest, I’m floored by the wisdom nuggets that were dropped. I am revisiting my own life and marriage to improve my thought processes in all of these areas discussed.

Listen…..I watched a lot of the interviews but I never seen them so tuned in to what the person is saying. They are legit learning and finding the word with Jerry. I love how they gave Jerry a platform to actually interview and allow us to hear him from a different tone. Pastor Flowers is amazing 💐

For women I say don’t let a silly/ foolish man waste their seed in you.

Gentlemen, TRUST and Believe……if more women (real healed, grounded women) witnessed men “modeling” we’d have NO qualms with submission. But don’t be a “ tyrant” demanding and controlling change “when you are the complete opposite sir” 🤷🏻‍♀️😶

Ryan was asking about fruit (bearing fruit): "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law." (Galatians 5:22-23) Also, from the Web: "In essence, the fruit of the Spirit represents qualities that result from the work of the Holy Spirit in a Christian’s life. These virtues stand in contrast to sin and egotism, reflecting the divine nature and the life of Christ." One more thing: “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” (Jeremiah 17:7-8) Much love to all of y'all. 🤍✨

You should always be striving to do better for God! Lukewarm is never where we want to be. It’s not judgement it’s a standard for life to have a man who is on fire for God. I can’t deal with a lukewarm man anymore. I’m now spiritually mature but at one point I was lukewarm because I wanted to be like the world sometimes and be Christlike other times. No more of that. I pray everyone can mature in their faith. When you do so, you won’t even want to be lukewarm, hot, cold anymore for Christ.

I hear the same questions being asked in different ways but expectin different answers. Perspective partners can show up one way nice then later come surprise you with deception. One common denominator is true if you are celibate from day one to courtship, engagement, them marriage that is one less emotional rollercoaster you have to deal with. The major concern of people is (what if i been celibate and we marry i found out he/she can't perform,he too small, she doesn't arouse me , he is impotent) !!! I want to start off doing it GOD'S WAY AND MUTUAL LOVE SHOULD WORK THINGS OUT 🤷🏾

There’s a difference between living in sin (knowing what is right (what is right is the Word) and not doing it, yet ascribing to be a Christian vs repenting for the sins you commit (which is to turn away and do no more).

Love this episode. I really appreciate this model of a Kingdom Ambassador. My soul gravitate to these unapologetically teachings that snatches my edges in love. ❤
They'll keep me focus and straight in my walk on that narrow pathway. I get irritated when teachers don't put the icing on the cake.
Meanwhile, I will agree with knowing your purpose and assignment to identify your partner. Now, if the willingness to build the foundation is there and he loves the Lord. Absolutely, I will have the compassion to help meet him to develop in the areas of lack. I would proudly serve him to become.

I like how Pastor Flowers holds both men and women accountable to THEMSELVES. So often, women view men as a threat to their future, and men view women as a threat. But really, we set the bar and are responsible for our own boundaries and standards. T.D. Jakes once said, "We have to make sure we don't fall on our own sword."
