If u have prominent upper lip..u r not a mustache guy...a bit of dull upper lip will rock mustache..

The Beardstache is iconic. It gives you that manly Magnum PI look combined with the "I've been too busy to shave because I've been out fighting evil villains hellbent on taking over the world" look.
The thing with moustaches is, unless you're genetically predisposed to having thickness and length in it, the stache will just end up looking lame. Just my opinion. I mean, there's a reason why they say very few guys can pull off a mustache. And even if you can grow a gnarly stache, do you have a nice looking chin/jaw? Because if you have double chins...lol. See, that's the beauty of beards. They got you covered.
Kinda true! Although I can't grow a full beard at all, my moustache turned out solid. You just gotta work with what you got ;)

The beardstache is quite popular among adolescents in my country because it's easier to pull off, makes you look mature without looking too old. Still, older guys rock it as well.
Concerning the mullet, self flattery will get one everywhere.
I'm about 11 months into the yeard, and loving every minute of it.
Now to decide if I go two years and onwards towards a terminal beard or find a sweet spot to trim too. So many decisions....
I have been triming my head for some years now , down to 1mm because of my thin hairline (starting to get bald) and Im 25yo. I have always had a big beard ever since it started to grow, but now, thanks to you, Eric, I am rocking The Beardstasch and Im loving it! (some chics and my boys too)

I've been rocking the Verdi for a while now with a nice handle bar. Got a lot of my grooming tips from you guys. I get quite a lot of compliments on it. That and a nice pompadour.

Hey Eric, I've seen many of your vid's over the past and many of your own facial hair styles. Without a doubt, in my opinion, THIS is your absolute best facial hair look !!! seriously. The awesome Chevron mustache with just a few days beard stubble. Even though you can grow a very good longer beard and longer mustache, it doesn't look anywhere near as good on you as this. The stubble simultaneously brings out your fair complexion underneath and accentuates 'manliness' by adding depth to the face and jawline. A nice bright & well-kept appearance, but also rough/rugged enough to command respect and give a really cool look. Also it's very easy to maintain. Ahhh, the wonderful classic Chevron stache, Gotta Love it !! With stubble it's an ultra-masculine style. Stubble & Chevron is also my best look (by far), and we have the same overall complexion & beard. I've had this look for about 1 year now and will probably keep it forever, with the exception of possibly taking it all down to just short stubble once in a blue moon. My stache is much darker/dirtier blonde than yours, and the rest of my beard is about 50% snow white, and my whole chin about 80% white (I'm 40). This facial hair type we both have makes other longer beards & mustache styles seem almost 'yucky' and 'overboard' compared.

The Verdi Beard deserves to be in the top 3 imho! But i agree that after sometime people might change their approach towards styling beard once they achieve a Yeard and tried out all the styles. The Verdi Beard would always be my goto beard once i tried all the beard styles. Cheers and keep on growing!!!
The Chevron is very opinion splitting. I had one for a couple weeks and some people really liked it some people hated it. I couldn't make my mind up!
It took me sooo long to grow my beard - but I am ready for a change. I am sure I can pull off the Scruffy Goat! Thanks for the idea.

I'm in month 8 of the terminal path, beard and mustache; I feel like I've hit a 2nd "awkward" phase and I don't like it, but the growth must go on.

@@WillemvanKalsbeek I would consider myself a great example too 😂, but I trimmed to down to a walrus/chevron hybrid due to life getting in the way (drinking, eating, kissing, etc.).

I think the Verdi beard is the best beard style. I would't get the terminal beard to second place; I just don't like it. Otherwise, all the moustaches styles are cool!
I've rocked a van dyke, Cantinflas mustache + soul patch combo, pencil stache, and Doc Holliday.
Am I the only one who seems to be into over the ear with some length to them 50's retro sideburns I just think there's something cool about them you can also pare them with another style think of a goatee circular beard for example .
Sideburns in general is missing from this list

I personally like the full beard. Before I shaved it all off, tnat was what I rocked. I am now in the process of growing my second beard.

I saw a guy who had an interesting version of the beardstache. It looked like he had a two month beard, but with a monster walrus moustache. He really stood out.

I have a Verdi right now but I do miss shaving. For the past 10 years I shaved with a variety of straight razors. I think I'm going for the Horseshoe this time around. I've seen a few female critics and they seem to hate every style of facial hair...women!
The Balbo with Handlebar for me is number 1
I'm working on the verdi style right now. Gotta a LONG way to go, but I think that is by far the best looking, on this list anyway. Short and/or shaven, not for me.

The scruffy Hollywoodian is an awesome look, while mustaches are hit or miss (and stand alone mustaches look much better on dudes with a full head of hair.)
I think the beard stache is difficult to pull off. So if you can, I respect it.
Eric..are you using a product in your mullet? Or is your hair naturally that thick and does your hair naturally go into that style?

Not every man can pull off the moustache only or the terminal beard, or yeard, and rock it well. I'm definitely not that guy as I didn't look good when I tried it. However, I really like the stubble and the goatee styles, so I'm gonna put those as my 2 of my top 3, as well as standard small beard with trim sideburns. When I finally get around to axing my very long hair, I'm going to do the undercut hair style as well as try the goatee once again and shaving off most of the rest of my beard. Maybe a stubble goatee.

If someone wants to grow their beard almost twice as fast I have a good recommendation. Go to a nutrition store and get the shakes with protein and amino acids. Protein and amino acids are what build and repair body tissue. I was using this to help build lean muscle and as a bonus my beard started growing twice as fast. Stopped protein shake for a week(I ran out) and my beard growth slowed.
I mean, it makes sense. Hair is mainly protein.
Protein is amino acids, and you would have to be protein deficient for this to have any effect

I'm nearly 29 and my terminal beard length is barely the length of the yeard picture you showed and my mustache is incredibly thin. I just wish there was something I could do to improve my beard length and density.
You could look into minoxidil, but it apparently can age the skin on your face

Lot of moustache styles here, guess you're biased. lol. Who isn't? I'm not a huge moustache fan myself, although on some guys it does work really well, I mean you couldn't imagine someone like Tom Selleck without one, one of the all time great moustaches! I like just having the full beard and letting the goatee grow, wish I could get it longer but it's slow, I guess if I let the underside grow I might have gotten more terminal growth and it will no doubt get longer as I age, just rock your look with confidence and don't do it to be trendy, just make your style your own, if you are confident, people will dig it! Rock on with your moustache, I must admit it's nice, my bias towards moustaches is probably just because it doesn't suit me. If it works for your face, go for it!
Gotta love Jamies walrus, his style in general, he says and does his own thing, the black beret on shaved head off centre, white shirt and his amazing moustache are just totally him, and he doesn't care what anyone thinks, and he carries that in his general attitude to life, he has fun, speaks his mind and looks how he wants. To me that makes him cool!
