Some convenience features from Version 1x are missing/changed in Version 2x. 2. The walking speed in ‘walking along path mode’ doesn’t work appropriately. It simply slows down the 'movement' along the path instead of the 'motion' of armature...It makes the slow-walking looks like Moon-walk of Michael Jackson...
Hi Frank, what features do you miss from version 1.x? Regarding the speed of the Follow Curve mode, since each animation can have a different speed of the feet movement, it is necessary to adjust the speed according to that and the length of the curve. This is also because we offer the possibility to add your own animated models, as you can see in the tutorial "Procedural Crowds Tutorial - How to add Custom Models - Version 2.0".
Are you planning to add the option for the Crowd system to as well to be High Poly instead of just solo characters? Since some of us with monster PC's can handle it. Also, providing a way for the animations to loop, because the crowd seems to have almost never-ending keyframes. Like if they are standing in a circle and cheering, there should be an easy way to loop the animation instead of trying to do it ourselves manually. I tried, and it's not working for me.

That's just one thing that's incredibly necessary for the next step in blender, add-on crowd generation... I have the fastest way in the world to import. Daz studio character's into blender in my own addon I was thinking about working out a system that would utilize the DAZ character system. For that it might be better. Because we would need animated faces but we do have the power of open AI and the developer on my team is always willing to do this kind of thing and is very skilled at open AI... To start off. All approached slightly. I'll just create a panel as I do import. Already animated DAZ characters. with audio but I could import them without too but I'll create a panel. That when you import, you could select a preset animation.... Like clapping with a facial expression that also imports preset audio.... And just create a bunch of those like like 40.....Then I would need to make a d a z script ... To speed up the proper creation and output of characters from your library... And only utilize low poly hair.... As these characters are pretty high poly. And then on import set up an automatic decimation system. Based on distance from camera because there are pretty high poly... I gotta figure it out, but it seems possible. And then you just reuse your daz library over with some good logic to make certain everything looks original each time.

Hello! The models are not separated by individual clothing parts, so you cannot change individual garments. However, you can add or replace the original models. We are currently working on a tutorial to show to our customers how they can add their own models to Procedural Crowds. Best regards.
hi sir, i just bought it yesterday. this tutorial shows install 1.0.1. Now with the Version 2 i have two zip folders. 1x 2.0.0 and 1 x 2.1.2. Can you update the text file in this Pack ? Or help wuick here, maybe this comment can help further costumers
ok nothing changed, just replace the 1.0.1 in the Video with 2.0.0. i dont know why there is 2.1.2v but no asstes folder 2.1.2. maybe its for a future update. maybe you can awnser here- thanks sir.
Amazing add on! The only thing missing for me is the ability to quickly populate a custom floor layout shape. Perhaps using vertex paint to 'art direct' where more or less characters pop up using a particle system or geonodes.
Great tool! Did have a question about the wrapping to any surface though. Currently it seems the characters all want to point up. Is there a parameter to align the characters orientation to the normal of the floor object? For example, if you want them to start walking at the top of a sphere and they walk all the way around it with them always pointing out away from the sphere's normals.

Hello! The Stadium collection included in the add-on combines standing and sitting people. If you wish, you can display the PEOPLE_STADIUM and Armature_Stadium collections from the Outliner and replace the animations of all the models with ones where they are seated. Hi. I just purchased this great add on so i am totally at the beginning of the learning curve here. So far i get desirable results most of my tries. I get stucked at the random walk where the crowd seem to fall out of the sky the first few frames. i tried to re-level the groundplane but that caused for some people to get airborne. A word of advise here please. The option to have the crowd follow an object is fantastic. Would it be possible to make the figures twist around their waste while following the object rather then do a total rotation around their Z-axes? Thanks for this great tool.
Hi! Random Walk uses particle system instead of Geometry Nodes, so the behavior can be a bit more erratic, but there shouldn't be any problem if you put the human emitting object 1.5 - 1.7 meters above the ground, after the first few frames it should work correctly. Before the rig used to spawn and I had an issue that when I moved the character and rig, when I press the play button, the character moves to the origin and not where I moved it. Also Just now, when I spawn the individual characters, the rig doesn't show Im on Blender 3.69
This is an amazing Add-on! I was able to add my own custom crowd of 30+ people for all the presets (characters from Fuse and Mixamo) and it works perfectly...If anyone else decides to do this make sure to resize and textures to no more than 1K as it will affect render dramatically (Mixamo textures are 4K). Will you be implementing the option to transition from Seated to Cheering with regards to the Stadium preset in the future? that would be a great addition. this way we can choose when we want the crowd to react.

Hello friends, first of all, I want to thank you for the great plugin. It works well, but there's an issue: it doesn't function in languages other than English. I have Blender set to Spanish, and when I install the plugin, it doesn't recognize it. It's as if it can't find the assets' directory. The workaround is switching Blender to English, but it disrupts the workflow. I hope you can address this issue soon.

Is variation between each human's walking speed possible? IE, so that they aren't all moving along a path at the same speed.

Hey I purchased your addon but somehow "follow curve" does not work. The Crowd just stands there at the vertices point even tho I apply scale to the curve..

When I try selecting the procedural crowds asset folder it wont show in the directory. How do i fix this?
You probably forgot to unzip the procedural crowds asset file you downloaded. Unzip it. Then, point to that folder in the addon preferences.

To do that, you need to check the last option in the crowd settings: "Realize Instances".
After that, apply the Geometry Nodes modifier from the modifiers tab. If you have more questions, you can contact us through BlenderMarket for better assistance.

@@Patxi__ For Follow Curve and March, you will need to go to the top right corner of Blender and select Object > Convert > Mesh to apply the modifier.

I’m having issues with this as well. When I export the crowd sim in random mode I get weird deformation with the meshes
after installing it, it is not really working for me, kept saying python error

Hello friends, first of all, I want to thank you for the great plugin. It works well, but there's an issue: it doesn't function in languages other than English. I have Blender set to Spanish, and when I install the plugin, it doesn't recognize it. It's as if it can't find the assets' directory. The workaround is switching Blender to English, but it disrupts the workflow. I hope you can address this issue soon.

@@difffusestudio I found the issue. it was on my end. I had to turn off the OICIO Aces Enviroment in my system.
@@aaronsbot Hi, I also have OCIO turned ON on Sys environment and pcrown crashes at render.
Did you find a solution to render with Ocio color space without having to convert the textures of all the models? tkx.
@@BlacaPerosio I just deleted my OCIO in my sys environment :) sucks but it worked after that. I have had this problem with many blender add ons
