Have you never seen those dog and cat videos? If they grew up together the dog 99% of the time is always submissive sometimes even afraid to walk past the cat I doubt this will be any different. Plus dogs know respect they know who their seniors are and won't go over that line unlike cats who don't have boundaries like that.

I have owned cats all my life ....and so when that cat was biting the dog I'm telling you now he is hurting the puppy...the owner should step in and stop this from happening.

This is exactly how my two started out , for ten years they were unseperable , they slept curled up ❤️ every nite, one day I came home from work, I knew something was wrong my pup wasn't out front to greet me but I could hear him barking and whining in the backyard ,I dropped all my stuff and ran to the backyard because I knew something was very wrong, he was on the deck barking, whining and looking up on the roof,, so I looked up and could see Mr.Whiskers up there and he is meowing weird and hopping with his front paw up in the air then I noticed some blood on him , I'm freaking out (our animals are really our kids) and Cappy was going crazy , I ran through the house and out a dormer window and scooped up Mr. Whiskers and carefully wrapped him in a blanket and took him very quickly and running a few reds on the way (after I made sure it was clear) to out Vet, I called my wife in route she got there about 10 mins later , were both almost hysterical waiting for the word from the vet , our prayers were answered , although in bad shape he'll make it , he had a broken front leg and large puncture wounds and a large gapping belly wound needing many! Stitches, (sorry this is so long) well looking at our security cam footage , a coyote had apparently jumped our 4 foot fence and cornered Mr. Whiskers on the back deck and Immediately attacked him, well Cappy heard him screaming for help and came like lightning,, he hit that piece of %$$# in the side with his full weight and then he tore into it more viciously then I've ever thought he could even be, though he was a Rottweiler he is one of sweetest gentlest dogs in the world,, the fight only lasted seconds before the coyote wisely ran for his life, Mr. Whiskers somehow badly injured made it up his tree he uses to get on the roof, (I'm sorry I'll try to wrap this up quick) thanks , Mr. Whiskers Made it home, Thanks to his best friend , after this he would only go outside with his bestfriend , unfortunately Cappy has recently passed away, Mr.Whiskers no longer goes out unless we go out ,, and he still walks around the house occasionally calling for him , Cappy we couldn't be prouder of you or ever had a better family member then you , our hearts will never completely heal but I know someday we will all be together again, I miss you buddy so much you were a hero to us all, love you my son Captain..
Cappy was Mr.whiskers hero.. Animals are remarkable and most trusting. Cappy remind me of my dog Fluffy and cats ginger and bear. They were best friends.. How did Cappy pass away?
