I didn’t notice what the competition would be in the entry level beginner category. And a possible step up recommendations. Is an entry level shoot out coming?
Really nice editing and transitions! noticeable difference from your previous videos and much better than other paddle review videos. I think the only one giving you a run for your money in editing is John Kew's Tempest performance graph (if you played the 80s game Tempest, you know what I mean... :-)
Love the production quality of this review Chris. Keep up the good work. I was looking forward to this paddle, but it's a bit shocking that it isn't gen 1.5.
Just got my quartz - I play usually with a double black diamond. Figured- if I don’t like it, will keep it for my visitors. I do like it a lot - I demolished my pickleball buddies with the soft game today. It was definitely lacking the power I am used to, but on the flip side I had less errors. Might try some lead tape.
I'm new to pickleball and have a background in tennis. After two months of playing with the Costco paddle, I ordered the Spartus Apollo (per your previous review) and the CRBN2. I'm expecting to receive them next week. Since you mentioned that the Gen 1 paddle is phasing out, should I keep the CRBN2?
I would try it and see what you think first! I would say there's much cheaper options you could get instead of a CRBN2 that would perform similarly (Quartz would probably be one of those). Or other paddles like the 11six24 Monarch Jelly Bean and Vatic Pro Prism Flash or V7. Both $90 after discount code and top performing paddles. In my opinon, both much better than the CRBN at a much cheaper price
Just interesting choices. Vatic has been around for a while sitting atop the budget paddle hill. I think we were hoping for taking what works and improving on it. Just not seeing it with this paddle.
So really, this is the type of paddle someone gets if they TRULY want to learn good swing mechanics. There isn’t a big forgiving sweetspot, no artificial power…just a bare bones paddle that you really have to learn how to play with. As a tennis guy who appreciates good swing mechanics, this is a good paddle. But in a world of “ain’t nobody got time for that (or learn skills)” I’ll be curious how this paddle does.
Great design from 6.0 of course. I just don't understand the value for 90$. The 1 year warranty justifies a bit of it. But it's a gen1 paddle in 2024 with T500...
Its elongated rather than standard, but the Spartus Gladius Centurion is Gen2 w/ T700 carbon fiber and is $90 with discount codes. Way better stats than the Quartz, and from your review, a better paddle in play as well.
I’ve tried using your discount code (as well as others), and they don’t seem to work on the Quartz. The code worked on the accessories bought at the same time, just not the Quartz in the order. Six Zero may be not accepting discount codes on the Quartz, at its price point. 🤷🏼♂️
What’s the point of a control paddle without a great sweet spot? Seems like a miss. Beginners should start with Gen 1.5s. At the price the rec for beginners still has to be the Prism.
High production value on this video, very much opposite to this paddle. Buyers can get a way better paddle around this price point. Disappointing of SixZero to do this; feels like they are relying on their brand name rather than competing with similar construction in this range.
Please never do a Joola paddle review again. Joola has the worst customer service and never got any answer on returning a 300 dollar paddle. I realize it was a mess but 4 months and no reply after at least 6 calls and emails. Joola is terrible.
Ill stick with the Prism Flash, great video!!
Setting the bar wayyyyyy too high with this video production!!! 😩
The production quality, graphics and level of info is this review is off the charts. This is killer content.
Chris your reviews are getting better, congrats. Must be the new studio and the move. Keep up the great work. Saludos from Panama.
Production value, and graphics could really use a little help. Might want to let Aizec take over in that department.
Muy Loco time!! Get r done.

Super info. Ordered one to test for a middle school pickleball club.

You can buy their gen 2s then. No foam on purpose. Better durability and less likely to CC. True beginner budget option.

Good stuff bro! Quick and informative!
Sounds like the vatic is still a better option at this price point
Thanks for your sharing. Almost as many as the colors of the rainbow.
How are the CRUSH paddles? I feel like none of the bigger channels have made videos on them. Are they considered gen 3 since they have foam injection?
The editing and camera work are nuts this video 🤯
Great video.. what is your review on the Mozi Quickdraw paddle ?
Please look at the new Standout paddle CF1... Similar price and considerations
They should make a commercial w that music. Slick!

Chris! Thanks for the amazing review. I see that you're wearing the new Head Motion Pro pickleball shoes. How do you like it?
Still too early to say for sure, but so far no big complaints!
Getting one just to turn the “QU” on the paddle into an “F” and SixZero can’t stop me.

Im feinding for the gearbox pro ultimate review.
John Kew has one.
The iPhone 5c of pickleball paddles
when are you gonna review neonic!!!
Big miss when you can get vatic and jelly bean 👎🏼
Not meant to compete with them. Much more durable and inviting. True beginner paddle.
Jelly bean is by far the better value
@@BigRed22_KC so is the Jelly Bean big whiff by 6.0
@@WorldTraveler222 wide body isn’t for everyone. Subjective opinion. There are a lot of good options out there.
That intro tho

Carbon fiber is t300 or t700?
t300
Got one for my wife, but the discount code didn’t work, matter fact I tried using other reviewers codes and none of them worked
@@Realdeal8383 it should be live now. There were issues initially.
@@PickleballStudio to late now unfortunately lol
@@Realdeal8383bro just order again with code and return original🤔🤔🤔

Am I the only who thinks they made a mistake “transforming” the black grip into a white grip when they first marketed it having a black grip?
Yep...they missed the mark with no foam edge. Love me some Six Zero, but wrong is wrong.
Get Jelly bean instead.
