Farooq Abdullah married a British (Caucasian ) lady who gave birth to Omar Abdullah. Rajiv Gandhi married Italian Sonia ( Caucasian ) who gave birth to Rahul Gandhi. Farooq and Rajiv are Kashmiris and are typically lighter skin color than most other Indians -possibly and at least partly owing to the climatic conditions. In addition the dresses they typically wear as politicians , and the current day fashion of hairstyles all add to similarities. No biological relationship at least officially.

@Aryan Singhrana because separatism is non negotiable. Given is geography and strategic importance, India will never ever give up it's claim on Kashmir. The fears of Kashmiris are unwarranted. In India every state has its own culture, language, tradition etc and Indian Constitution preserves it.

Go to ECI website and check the voter turnout for every election in Kashmir. Most if not all are below 10%. Rest, do some minor research and you shall know.

Moreover, these so called mainstream political parties (oligarchs) have institutionalised the Kashmir centric politics around themselves in tandem with the separatists who directly or indirectly forces the mass to either boycott or threatened them.
Plus these oligarchs opposed and tried to cut the shoots of brewing new political parties by the youths of Kashmir.

And that too these are amongst those who were allowed and eligible to vote. There was large chunk of people who weren't even allowed to vote in VidhanSabha elections of J&K despite them living there for decades now.

Certain things are unsaid , unwritten rules which every one believes. White skin is beautiful. English language is knowledge and wisdom. Elite have a birth right to power and so does their progeny. Majority means they should have a say. Muslims did a favor by joining Indian union even though maharajah Harisingh had signed instrument of accession when there was a threat to his life by Pakistani invaders who invaded Kashmir and occupied till Muzaffarabad.
