Yeah, even though they take years to swing, with +4 damage upgrade you can one hit Geckos and two hit combo Mastiffs (gorilla bois) into stun and execution. Edit: also, when I used them I was able to kill Blade Wolf before he got to execution and get Mistral to 3.4% while still on the pipe (killed her with the first parry on the lower floor).

Jared Washington yeah but it shreds your rank into oblivion. It's only useful in taking down large swarms of Dwarf Gekkos (like in the sewers) or bosses with too much backup (since bosses are immune to the insta kill effect)
but you can instead get the infinite wig B which gives you unlimited fuel cell usage so 7/24 ripper mode + hf murasama is better than having fox blade if the rumours of hf murasama dealing more damage is real. Except the ripper mode gets canceled while using blade mode so you have to activate it every time and pushin both L3 and R3 over and over isn't the most health thing for you to do on your controller since it shakes the circuit board which turns into a random button pressing problem in the long run lol.
My favorite is the LÉtranger it's just so good like not only does it have insane range but that one attack or you just swing it around can hit like five six enemies at a time whist stunlocking them like it's just amazing! 😍🤩🤓🧡🤓
So, the FOX Blade cuts through enemies like you're always in Blade Mode. Doesn't Ripper Mode do the same thing? Why not just use the Infinite Wig B with any sword? The only difference I know of is that the FOX Blade will cut right through them even with armor, and that Ripper Mode still has to break the armor first, which still isn't an issue.
I would have liked the alternate swords to have their own sheaths in this game, for two reasons: 1. There are 2 swords in the game that have unique sheaths (the HF sword from the prologue and the murasama when used by Sam). 2. It's too surreal that these swords fit into the sheath of the custom cyborg body, causing them to be too big or too wide and look ugly at times (for example the Stun Blade for no reason fits in that sheath without looking bad)
DANG! I didn't know you could do that stuff with the Dystopia! I almost never use it! I usually just use the Pole-Arm and Pincers for secondary weapons.
Dystopia is an amazing weapon, especially if the -victim- enemy is in the air. Plus, it can be used to blast Sundowner's shields from a distance if you wanted to make the easiest fight in the game a cakewalk, and it's good for combos
its bsically the " cheat " weapons if you cannot be arsed the "end game" weapons on this game would be the Armor breaker and Muramasa when fully upgraded(and arguably the stun blade )

Obviously only when it is 100% mandatory will it cut, otherwise it will only hit them. I say 100% mandatory in cases like the end of the fight with Monsoon that you have to cut a structure in the QTE.
I love this game super easy and had a great time getting the platinum for it but if you really wanna have a great time playing this and not be dragged down the Stun Blade and Armor Breaker are your best friends. Also after I beat it completely I got Something called a game genie that allows you to get 10 million BP as you start but it was great helping me get over that slump of restarting a NEW GAME

I always found it as lost potential that with Bloodlust you could not use them one in each hand for some dual weapon sick combos

I'm curious what happens in boss killing zandstsu cutscenes if you have the wooden sword. Do they still get sliced up?

Obviously only when it is 100% mandatory will it cut, otherwise it will only hit them.
I say 100% mandatory in cases like the end of the fight with Monsoon that you have to cut a structure in the QTE.

I can tell you had quite some fun with the FOX Blade
I love this game super easy and had a great time getting the platinum for it but if you really wanna have a great time playing this and not be dragged down the Stun Blade and Armor Breaker are your best friends. Also after I beat it completely I got Something called a game genie that allows you to get 10 million BP as you start but it was great helping me get over that slump of restarting a NEW GAME
