Too many people are still butthurt about the "We are Robin" run even though it was great imo. They are the main reason why Duke got shoved to the side.
it's wild that this video is like 70% info torn straight from the edits and additions (sometimes word for word) i've made to all Duke's wikis over the years lmao i love it, i hope it brings more eyes to Duke and gets DC to make more stories for him
They need to focus up his powerset. Drop the shadow stuff, deffinitly drop the nonesene teleporting and seeing into other dimensions weirdness… hes a daytime dude focus on that.
Idk, I don’t mind it either. Fits the shadowy figure thing the bat family has going on. The different vision bs is pretty whack though. Definitely focus on him being Batman’s enforcer during the day. My pitch would be have him run a team with Nightwing and Bat-girl as morning crew. Night crew is Bruce, Tim, Jason, Damian. Have them rotate and such. Have a fun a family dynamic. Duke is pretty likeable too. He does it his way and Bruce isn’t opposed to it. Bruce just reinforces it and even trains him properly. Duke is extremely gifted as well. He completes the training which basically incorporates everything Bruce has learned just find and becomes his own hero. No wonder people like him.
I think it would be great if a new different version of DUKE, whose full name is DUKE THOMAS BROWN, and he exists in the realm of the futuristic Batman known from the stories of (BATMAN BEYOND). In addition I imagine the realm that the alternate version of futuristic Batman of (BATMAN BEYOND) new stories, he exists within the dimensional realm of EARTH-55, and that is the realm that (Duke Thomas Brown) is in.
I don't know why this character isn't in more of the bat family books because they say his nitch is fighting crime during the day, and while a lot of dirt happens at night, all the activity that happens to lead to that dirt often happens during the day, so he would be great for finding information and meeting individuals they may never meet, and could bridge the night and day crime fighting for the bat-family/bat corp. and many villains and heroes around them.

His super vision stuff needs to be focused up, maybe some precog and thats it, no xray vision or seeing into other dimensions or whatever.. and not weird nonsense light/shadow teleporting.. its like every new hero can see into other dimansions now and teleport.. limitations are a good thing.

A SET OF IDEAS ABOUT A VERSION OF DUKE WHO EXISTS IN (BATMAN BEYOND) REALM: I think it would be great if this character (Duke Thomas) aka Robin, is introduced in the new version of (BATMAN BEYOND) cartoon show series, and have him become the second (Robin) of the futuristic Batman. Or maybe (Duke Thomas) could be setup to become the first Robin, and then later down the line Terry’s younger brother becomes the next Robin in the new version of (BATMAN BEYOND) cartoon show series. Plus to add I imagine that (Duke Thomas) could later change his hero-title from Robin to SIGNAL, and I imagine that the version of DUKE who exists in the realm of futuristic BatMan, his full name is Duke Thomas Brown, before he got adopted by a foster-care family called Dawson.

I just discovered this robin and I am in my early 30s now 31 so this is interesting story definitely would like to see a movie adaptation of this
