    Thanks much! This worked for me, too! I did use CPU/GPU thermal paste in between copper foil tape and CPU. Factory restore, clean slate, start from scratch.

    Hi, just wondering, do think it would work to apply a little Artic Silver cpu paste between the heatsink and the cpu/gpu?

      This is only a temporary solution.. depends on how you use your device

  • @jamesgand828

    Put heatsink before the issue not after the issue? The reason why people even want to use this method is because they have the issue.

    • @SimplyTechKey
      @SimplyTechKey  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well it is not a permanent solution. If you want a permanent solution bring it to a professional technician to reball the chip .

    Just use thermal paste

    • @AntonioViana-zj9xc
      @AntonioViana-zj9xc 15 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Ever wonder why computers use heatsinks? Thermal paste only helps transfer heat to the copper, by itself, it doesn't cool down as efficiently
