- Shot on the first day of revenue service, this clip showcases BART's new 10-mile extension from the now-former Pittsburg/Bay Point terminus to Antioch, but in reverse. Featured along the way are the new Antioch and Pittsburg Center stations, plus BART's one-of-a-kind transfer point from diesel multiple unit (DMU) to electric rail service.
The new eBART or BART-to-Antioch extension officially opened for business on May 26, 2018, and now features BART's 47th and 48th stations.

** NOTE: westbound trains on this opening day only went as far as Concord Station, due to track work done between there and Pleasant Hill/Contra Costa Centre. Otherwise, on all other occasions electric rail westbound trains from the new Pittsburg/Bay Point transfer platform will continue their complete trips to San Francisco Int'l Airport and/or Millbrae. **

U haven't been uploading for a while but here it is...
I'd shot pretty much everything within the BART system up through early last year when the Warm Springs extension opened. So after that I didn't have a need to shoot anything new until this past weekend.
bartfansma oh alright
You could be filming platform shots
bartfansma you did a voice reveal !
@Ardalon Ansari - Only because a nice gentleman, who also was a train fan, decided to talk to me. I couldn't say no. :)
Is Antioch to Dublin/Pleasanton the most convoluted BART ride one can take? You have to transfer several times:
1) To an SFO train at the transfer platform
2) To a Berryessa train at MacArthur
3) To a Dublin/Pleasanton train at Bayfair
Are you going to the San Jose next 2019 and are you going to the flea of the future
I actually made it to opening day on the new Berryessa extension to the South Bay yesterday (6/13)! Check out my latest video on that at th-cam.com/video/OPc8VQIYXnw/w-d-xo.html.
You should film the new awkward Sunday service with blue line trains terminating at McArther
Unfortunately I never had the time, and BART ended Dublin/Pleasanton trains terminating at MacArthur earlier this year on February 15.
